Overdrive: A MHA x Male Reader Fanfic

Y/N VS Overhaul and Saiko

"This move is Dark Coffin; it weighs over 1,000 pounds. I'll squash you like a bug!" Haruto yells out and brings the hardened shadow down on top of you, crushing you.

You bring your arms up to grab the shadow. Immediately, you start to sink into the ground. You power up to 10%, which helps, but you are still stuck there, holding onto the shadow. You watch as Lemillion keeps fighting, even without his quirk. Despite being powerless, he still presses on. You power up to 15%. All of your previous amps increased, but your platinum became slightly pink, and acid began to come out of your hands. Shadows began to dance around you, and your reaction time significantly increased. Acid also replaced your saliva, and you began to drool the acid. You begin to be able to lift the shadow. You see Lemillion get impaled by spikes, but he keeps standing.

"Wow, not many people have been able to stop this attack," Haruto says, impressed. He looks over to Overhaul. "Hey, boss, wasn't Saiko with you?"

Haruto wasn't paying attention, so you quickly go to 20%. He looks at you as you throw the Dark Coffin away. You are hovering slightly off the ground. Your head is a flaming skull. The platinum on your body was a metallic pink, and the flames on your head were a bright green. You're eyes also changed and looked more like Mina's eyes. You grew an earphone jack on each ear, both covered in platinum, and the jacks themselves were as sharp as senbon needles.  You are also a foot taller. You teleport in front of him and grab his neck.

"This is Overdrive, at 20%. I'm sure you are the first I've used it on. Feel special," you say and punched him into the wall. You hear multiple cracks once he crashes. Chains were then sent flying after you. You dodge. You turn and see Saiko.

"Listen, man, can we not right now? I'm kinda in the middle of something," you say. He rolls his eyes. He then uses Overdrive at 20%. He has crow wings and chains floating around his body. His fists become coated in lightning, and he grows a few inches.

He tries to punch you, but you teleport behind him and go to stab him with your Enhanced Wrist Swords. He turns into crows before the impact, though. He reassembles a few feet in front of you.

"Why are you working for Overhaul? Better yet, why were you working with All For One? He was going to use you to get your body. He never cared about you, or me, or anyone else. He wants revenge on All Might," you say. Saiko doesn't respond and instead sends chains at you.

You jump away and shoot fire at him. He uses ice to counter. You teleported away and launched lightning at him. He looks shocked, and the bolt strikes him in the center of the chest. He then begins to turn into mud. He was just a copy. You turn to Lemillion, and he isn't doing any better. You drop back down to 10%; you didn't want to strain your body more than you had to. You teleport over to Lemillion and grab his shoulder.

"Lemillion, this may be hard for you, but I need you to keep Eri out of danger. I might get a bit explosive," you say as you heal him.

"Right. And Overdrive, be careful," Lemillion says. You nod and turn to Overhaul. Lemillion picks up and runs off.

"It's just you and me now, Overhaul. I will make you suffer for what you've done to Eri," you say. You teleport over to Overhaul and send a kick towards his head. His eyes widen, and he touches the ground, sending spikes in your direction. You were able to float around them. Overhaul also used his quirk to back off. He knows he can't win in close combat. He sends wave after wave after wave of spikes at you. You either dodged them or destroyed them.

You teleported back over to him again. You went to punch him, but he ducked. He reached out to grab you, but you flew up. He sent stone pillars in your direction. You shoot lightning at him, and he makes a wall for cover before using it to create spikes to attack you. You moved out of the way, broke a piece off the spike, and turned it into a H.E.A.T. shot. You launched it at Overhaul and sent him flying. You teleport by him, and you grab him. You were about to slam him into the ground when he touched your chest. You speed up so that time around you slows down. You jump away and let time play out as usual, but the damage has been done, and the upper part of your suit is deconstructed. You go back up to 15%, and now your body looks similar to Kirishima's "Unbreakable" move, but with the platinum skin.

"God damnit! That was expensive!" you yelled at Overhaul.

"It's not my fault you got so careless," he responded.

"I got to be careful. I shouldn't have constantly been changing my Overdrive forms like that. I wasted too much energy doing that," You thought to yourself.

Suddenly, chains come flying at you. You floated by them, but then Overhaul sent spikes at you. They hit you but didn't do anything. Saiko, presumably the real one, comes flying at you in his Overdrive 20% form. He begins to assault you with a barrage of punches while you bring your arms up to block.

"You don't have much energy left, do you Overdrive?" Saiko asks. He then brings his hands together, and a large explosion is shot out of his hands, sending you flying back.

"I borrowed this quirk from Bakugo when we took you guys," he says. He flies at you again and shoots a larger explosion, sending you crashing into the wall. You've spent too much energy trying to hold up your Overdrive form. You drop back down to the base and fall to the ground. Saiko gets ready to shoot you with chains, and in a last-ditch effort, you use Erasure, causing your eyes to glow red and your hair to stand up. He panics and falls to the ground.

"You aren't gonna kill me that easily," you said.

"Why do you have to be so stubborn," he says. He pulls out a knife and walks over to you. You stood up and got ready to fight when Lemillion came out of nowhere and sucker-punched him.

You stayed back and tried to keep your eyes open as long as possible. Overhaul hasn't attacked yet. Lemillion grabbed Saiko's head and brought it down to his knee. Saiko tried to stab Lemillion, but Lemillion was able to disarm him. Saiko brought his hands up to try and block Lemillion's punches. Your eyes were strained, and you were about to close them. Lemillion punches Saiko in the gut one last time before you close your eyes, causing your hair to drop and your eyes to return to their standard hazel color. You create a portal using Portal Gun to move Lemillion back to your side.

"Thanks for the help, Lemillion," you say.

"No problem. How long do you think it will take Sir and the others to arrive," he asked.

"Any minute now. I'd ask, but that would be too distracting. Go back to Eri. I should be able to take it from here," you say. Lemillion nods and runs off to Eri. You turn back to Saiko and turn your body into platinum.

"Platinum Barrage!" you yell and unleash a fury of punches on Saiko. You have to hurry and take him out of the picture.

Saiko grabs your fists and uses a super strength quirk to knee you in the gut. This shattered your platinum skin and caused blood to fly out of your mouth. He let go of your fists and used some flash bangs to blind you. You then feel yourself getting thrown into the air. You're confused, and you can't see.

"Now!" Saiko yells. You then heard a sound, which sounded like Overhaul's quirk. You then feel a sharp pain in your gut. When you finally open your eye, you see that one of Overhaul's spikes have impaled you. You cough up a lot of blood.

"Overdrive!" Lemillion yells out. Saiko then appears right in front of him. You don't have the strength or the energy to do much. You can't free yourself. You can barely lift your head. You look at the battlefield and see Eri looking at you with teary eyes. You flash a smile before coughing up more blood. You keep the smile, however. You look back over to Lemillion, who is getting attacked by Saiko. Saiko was only using his chains; at least, that's what it looked like. Again, you used Erasure on Saiko and Overhaul as a last-ditch effort. Your eyes glow red, and your hair stands up. Saiko's chains disappeared, but Lemillion was still wounded.

"Finish-," you weakly call out before coughing more blood. Despite the pain, you keep your eyes open. "-finish Saiko, quickly."

A wall comes crashing in, and you see Deku and the others run in. Sir, Deku, and Aizawa look up at you in horror.

You keep a smile on your face. You finally close your eyes, your hair drops and your body limps.
