Overdrive: A MHA x Male Reader Fanfic

Rush!

You and Mina, with Mina being on your back, walk around the field trying to find either targets or your classmates. Some idiot thought he had an advantage because you were carrying a person, but the moment you heard footsteps you turned around and froze him in place. He tries to get out, but at this point, Mina was off of your back and you were already in front of him and were about to eliminate him. Suddenly he vanished. You rapidly began to look around when you catch a glimpse of him behind Mima. You rushed over and tried to punch him but he vanished again.

"Mina be careful, this guy is either faster than me or can teleport," you say. You don't get a response so you turn to face Mina. She's laying on the ground. Her eyes are still moving but she's not talking or moving. You hear movement so you jump up and sent a kick back behind you. Nothing connects. You hear movement behind you again. You whipped around and sent fire out. Once again, nothing. You activate a different fire quirk than Todoroki's HH,HC. You spun around sending flames everywhere, creating a fire tornado. You hear a grunt to your left so you turn and see him standing, protecting himself from the flames. Getting a better look at him, he has metal armor on his chest, arms, and hands. You also notice two blades coming out of his gauntlets.

"Teleportation?" you ask. He nods. You sent out your trusty old Wrist Blades. He then teleports behind you and tries to stab you. You dodge and swipe at him, however, he teleported away. He then starts to teleport in random spots trying to trip you up. It almost works, almost. He lunges at you but you can counter with your Wrist Swords. You guys are locked in place.

"So what's your name?" you ask him. No response. He teleports again but you by pure luck manage to guess where he was going to show up again, which was to your left. You swipe at him but his armor absorbs most of the impact.

"So how'd you paralyze my friend?" you ask. He just holds up his blade and you saw a small drop leave from the blade. Looking closely, there is a small hole that holds poison.

"Is that poison lethal?" you ask. He shakes his head no.

"Are you mute?" you ask. He nods yes. So that's why he's not talking. He teleports and actually manages to stab you, but your suit protects you. You activated Erasure and got rid of his quirk.

"Sorry but your teleporting all over the place is annoying," you say. He runs at you and tries to slice you, but you block with your Wrist Swords. This goes on for a minute, but soon your eyes begin to water up. You're trying to keep them open but it doesn't work, and the moment you blink he teleports away. He then stabs you again, but you can block. This isn't working. He can teleport faster than you can move, and so far the only thing you notice is that he can't teleport within a few feet of a person. Very subtly his's eyes look to the right, and then he teleports over to your right side. 

"So he needs to see where he is teleporting," you think to yourself. This gives you an idea. He tries to attack again but when you block, you also touch him, copying his teleportation. You then manipulate the earth around you to create a dome with a small hole in the roof. He obviously was able to teleport out before the dome was finished, but you teleported through the small hole. He didn't know that you copied his quirk, so you surprised him when you grabbed him from behind and went back into the dome. You completely close it so that no light enters the dome. You activate the night vision mode from your helmet so you can see. You simply sneak up on him and eliminate him. You release the dome and he was dumbfounded, but he bowed his head in respect and gave you a vial with the label "antidote" on it. You thanked him and administered the antidote to Mina, she began to move again. 

"Thanks, Y/N!" she said.

Now both you and Mina have only one more person left to eliminate. Mina wanted to get back on your back but you said no. She pouted but kept walking. You two eventually find Mineta, Ojiro, and Hagakure. You all begin to talk until you hear someone shout and you all turn around to see an entire class getting ready to eliminate you. You all began to run.

You turn a large boulder into a bomb and set off an explosion. This causes a large smokescreen to appear. You guys manage to get away because of it. You all eventually find Iida and some others. The announcer then says there are only ten spots left. You count heads and notice that only ten of Class 1-A students are here. You had given Iida an earpiece so he can communicate if he passes or gets eliminated, or if he finds other students. So far the only one was Ayoama, making him the tenth student. You all suddenly see one of Ayoama's navel beams in the sky. But why? You overhear what Ayoama was saying to Iida, and you realized that his beacon was to distract the enemies so Iida could pass. You tell your group this and begin to run at the beacon.

Then a bunch of birds swarmed the area, and you realize that this is Koda's doing. You notice your opponents are confused and you use this to your advantage. Mineta used his quirk to lay traps while Tokoyami used his to either attack or separate the group. Either way, it's helpful. You and Ojiro use your quirks to knock over people who got stuck by Mineta's trap, making it harder for them to escape. Hagakure managed to turn her body into a giant flashbang from MW2 and blinded the enemies. You then preceded to make sure everyone could pass before you yourself did. When possible you would use Arsenal or Portalling to stop balls from hitting you or your classmates' targets. Eventually, it's just you left and everyone who could move began to throw balls at you, desperate to pass. You laugh and begin to activate your super-speed.

Time slows down as you gracefully maneuver around the balls that appear frozen in time for you. You get your last elimination and the test was officially over. The announcer becomes overjoyed at the fact the test was over and you've made your way to the anteroom. When you get in, you see all of class 1-A passed. Tsu points out where to go to remove your targets. 

Once you've turned in your targets, Mina came up to you.

"Hey Y/N, I got a small question," Mina said.

"Shoot," you responded,

"Was that girl from before really your ex?" she asked.

"Nope, don't even know who she is," you say. Kyoka heard this and walked over.

"Who are you talking about," Kyoka asks.

"Just some girl who claimed to be my ex," you say.

"What did she look like?" she asks.

"Blue hair with a streak of black, and black eyes. She also had small ears and a small nose," you say.

"Oh her. Yeah, she did go to our school. Her name was Tanako Honda right?" 

"Something like that. Why? Did we use to date and I completely forgot?" 

"No, but she did have a huge crush on you though," Kyoka says.

"Oh," you say. You then excuse yourself so you can go get a snack or two.

Hello everyone, thanks for reading! So I just got a computer and finished writing some of this chapter on it. It's way better than writing on my phone. Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. There was something else but I forgot. Oh well, Peace!!!
