"I'll go with you" Leslie said.

Liv sighed in relief and curled her lips into a big smile. "Thank god, I thought you were going to say no" she said, laughing softly.

"I thought so too, but I miss seeing them and I miss being there.. I also miss Liam.." She said, smiling.

"Yeah it's been awhile, and I'm glad your coming" she said, taking another bit of her breakfast.

"It might be hard, but I think I can handle it.." She said, taking another bite.

Leslie's POV first person

Last week was horrible, teachers kept throwing things at us, to study for our exams after spring break. Rumors spread throughout the school like a forest fire, and I wasn't quite sure if most of them were real.

I missed Jahseh every day, but I tried to push it back, because I knew what my eyes saw. Liv has helped me a lot, once again. My pain has decreased a little, which I'm very happy for. This stupid reminder app kept reminding me of the day that'll happen next week, I dreaded it, I can't stand that day. It makes me hurt so much inside, not that I'm not already enough.

But anyways, let's stop the chit chat and get on with the actual start of my spring break, huh?

March 25

Leslie woke up from her phone buzzing, forcing her to get up. She groaned and grabbed her phone, making it turn on and immediately make her eyes wince from the bright light, the phone had gave. She blinked a few times, forcefully making her eyes get use to the bright light.

Her eyes moved up to the top right of her phone, letting her eyes adjust so she can read the time. 7:20 PM, she read.

"Damn, there goes my sleep schedule" she said, sighing.

She scrolled down the notification bar (idfk what you call it-) and read all of the notifications, that she received for the past hours she's been asleep.

The notifications were mostly messages from friends, close and not so close family, that dumb reminder app, and some stuff from Instagram and Snapchat.

She let out a soft sigh, and decided to read these messages, knowing what most of them will be about, Today on March 25, is Leslie's birthday. Leslie isn't all about her birthday, she tells as if it's a waste. Ever since, her dad passing, she didn't seem to care about it anymore, because her dad would take her to her favorite restaurant and places, and after his passing, she never done that.

Leslie and her dad were very close, so was her and her mother. Leslie loved her parents, she always look up to them, but now she feels lost. She feels like she lost herself. She lost the two most important people in her life.
