Chapter 32:

Long chapter :) enjoyy

---

Sunday

Leslie laid down on her soft bed, staring at her white popcorn ceiling. She finally felt comfortable, no casts, no taking medications to ease her pain. She finally felt free. Her bones healed.

She let out a soft sigh, remembering she has hell tomorrow, as what the kids call school nowadays. But can you blame them?

I know I can.

A little nervousness roamed her, she's going back to school. Where rumors spread. The last time she dealt with her classmates and fellow students, was at the party.

People witnessed stuff, that isn't true by the way. Her embarrassing moment as when she felt her boyfriend, had cheated. But mostly important, the girl who tried to end her life is probably still roaming around.

She hopes that's not true, but who knows. She's been away for a few weeks. Police has never tried to contact her to give her any information.

The sound of her phone alarming her that someone is calling her roamed her bedroom, making her jump up and grabbing her phone.

She read the callers ID, answering it in a hurry.

"Hello, Is this Leslie Evans?" The caller asked.

"Uh. Yes, this is her" she said.

"Hi, my names Officer Lincoln. I've heard you recently gotten back from a little vacation. I was calling to ask if you are willing to be able to come on down the police station to get asked some questions, about this little incident"

Her eyes widen, does that mean. She's still roaming??

Her side of the line went quiet for a few moments, before trying to bring up the courage to talk.

"I-is she not in jail yet...? Or the guy who did it??" She asked, sounding a bit worried.

"I'm afraid not, but we are trying our bests to find her and the guy. We just need some questions, to hopefully help is get closer" The officer said.

"I can go" she said.

"Okay, It's probably better if you have someone with you, just to be safe" he said.

"I'll try to get someone.." She said.

"Alright, I'll let you be" the officer hung up.

The line went silent, she let out a sigh and closed her eyes. "As I expected.. She's not locked away" worriness laced her.

She was afraid to go outside alone, someone who tried to kill her is still lurking out there somewhere. Probably thinking of ways to forreal kill her. Who knows huh?

Leslie stood up from her bed, she grabbed her phone and exited her bedroom, making her way towards Liv's.

The white door was half way opened. She lightly knocked onto it before hearing a come in from her best friend.

She opened it, so she could fully see her best friend sitting at her desk doing who knows what.

"Hey are you busy..?" She asked.

"No, whats up?" Liv asked, smiling softly to her best friend.

"The police wants me in for questioning.. Kaylen still roaming around with her hitman" she said.
