Chapter 24 | End of abandonment

3rd person pov:

Frustrated (y/n) sits next to Chan. Both have been waiting to speak to a doctor for over two hours now, but whenever they try to talk to anyone, they are just being pushed aside or ignored. Every second they have to keep waiting the girl gets more concerned and nervous.

"Miss (l/n)", a unknown make voice calls out, making (y/n) jump from her seat immediately.
"Yes? Is he doing better?"
The doctor looks at her with a stern look, before looking at some papers he's holding.
"He's still unresponsive. We've been trying to contact your parents."
The man can see the hurt in (y/n)s face, as he says that.
"They are.. not reachable at this moment. That's why I am here instead", the girl lies, hoping saying that will be enough to get the information she desperately needs. While waiting for the doctor to respond, Chan lays his hand on (y/n)s shoulder.
"He is stable. Bit we won't be able to keep him, if his parents don't contact us in the next two weeks", the workers feels sorry for the siblings, but rules are rules and he can not make an exception unfortunately.
"I understand", the girl nods, "So I have 14 days to get them there, right?"
Confused the boy looks at the girl he loves. The doctor nods.
"Thank you. If Zack should wake up tho, can you please contact me?"
First the medical worker looks at the papers, thinking, before reluctantly agreeing with the girls request.

"So what is your plan?"
The couple is on their way home, when Chan breaks the unbearable silence between them. It takes (y/n) a second to answer.
"Drive me home", she says shortly.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I am.."

When the two arrive in front of (y/n)s house, she enters without saying anything and Chan follows quietly. Still silent she tries to enter the parents office, but it's locked.
"Of course they would..", she Mutters, looking around for something to break the door open. After a few seconds she finds a metal vase, that she immediately picks up and uses to break the door handle. Proud of herself the (h/c) girl opens the the white door. She smiles to herself as she enters the room and slips the Lightswitch on. Feeling slightly intimidated the boy follows her inside.
"Couldn't you just look for the key?", He asks, but gets ignored as she begins to look through every shelf in the room, making a mess in the process. Chan simply watches her throw probably important papers through the room. He knows how much she's struggling with everything and letting her let her anger out like this might help her to feel a bit more at ease.
After a while of breaking everything in her way, she suddenly stops and instead stares at a pair of papers, she was about to throw away.
"Got you..", she says, showing the boy, who is still watching her, the papers she just found.
"France?", Chan tilts his head in confusion.
(Y/n) has a recite for plane tickets in her hand.
"We own a holiday home in Paris.. I should have known they went there.."
"So, what are you gonna do?", The boy looks concerned at the girl, who is still holding the papers in her hand.
"I going to look for them.."
