(Y/n) pov:
Excited I look at myself in the mirror, checking out my outfit to make sure I really want to wear that. Feeling happy with my choice I nod at myself, take my back, put it over my shoulder and leave my room. My parents and Zack are playing a game on his switch he got when being released from the hospital. They are all having a lot of fun and don't even notice me leave the house.
When I look at the road I can already see Chan sit in his care, waiting for me.
I told him to wear something comfy, since I planned to go ice skating with him for our first Date.
As soon as Chan sees me, his lips immediately curle into a smile. At first he wanted to open me the car door, like he always does, but I already sit in the seat next to him, when he's only about to open his own door.
"Too slow", I joke, making him chuckle a bit.
"So, where are we driving?", He asks, looking at me interested.
This time I chuckle: "I'll lead you, but I won't tell you where we go~"
He smiles, shakes his head and begins to drive. After a 30 minute drive we finally arrived at our destination. Chan seems confused.
"Ice skating?", He raises an eyebrow.
I just nod happily: "Yeah, let's go!"Together we walk inside. It's surprisingly full here for a monday, but that's okay. I'm sure I will be able to keep it together for today.
When we two have our tickets and got a pair of skates for Chan, we went to put them on. As soon as I take out my own pair of skates, he looks at me confused.
"What?"
"I didn't know you ice skat", he says, still staring down.
"Oh, I used to. But I stopped when I was, I think fourteen?"
"Why though?", He seems interested, which I find really cute, but thinking about a answer is not as easy.
Unsure I look at my stomach, to where my scars are hidden underneath my clothes. I can't mention that. I just can't.
"Oh, it became a bit much with school and everything", I lie. Why do I lie?? Maybe I'm just too embarrassed to say it or maybe I'm scared he will think less of me, if I don't?Hand in hand, with our skates on, we walk to the ice. Immediately I get on by myself, but when I notice Chan being hesitant, I get skate back to him.
"Are you okay?", He seems nervous and a bit embarrassed.
"Yeah, it's just, I've never been ice skating before.."
"Oh, I can help you!", I offer him my hand. Again he hesitats but in the end takes it softly. Immediately I firm my grip and drag him onto the ice. The second he touches the ice, it looks like he's about to fall, but he doesn't. Chan looks at me proudly, as he hasn't fallen down yet.
"See, it's not that hard!", I cheer for him.
When I'm about to let go off his hand, he is this time the one to firm his grip.
"Please don't let me go yet..", his voice is almost inaudible, while the people around us speak loud.
"I won't", a smile escapes my lips, as we skate together, holding onto each others hand. After a while Chan felt more safe to do it on his own. And I have to admit, he's really good. It feels like there is nothing he is not good at. He really is to admire..
"Want some of my food?", He sits across from me, offering me one of his fries.
"No thanks you. I think I'm good", I declined, taking a bit out off my hotdog I bought.
Eating with him feels comfortable.
"More for me", he giggles, stuffing the fries he had offered me into his mouth.
He seems happy, like really happy. When we were done with eating, we again skated for a while, enjoying each other's company. It felt like time flew by, when we eventually arrive Infront of my house.
"Did you have fun?", I ask full of hope. And to my luck, Chan nods.
"Yeah, it was nice spending some time with you, without having to worry about anything", he answers, smiling.
"And you even learned something!", I add, "Who would have thought you're so good at ice skating?"
We both chuckle, as we walk to his car.
It's really nice to just spend time with him. Before I confessed to him for the first time, I always wanted to spend time with him the way we do now. Somehow this feels unreal. Like a dream that I could wake up from every second. And when I wake up, everything would go back to how it used to be..
"Are you okay?", His voice snaps me out of my thoughts.
"Oh, of course", I quickly answer, trying to overplay my worrying, "So.. would you call this a success?"
Asking this makes me feel shy. He always manages to make me feel shy. Even when he doesn't do anything.
Chan gives me a huge smile and nods at the same time: "Yeah, it was great. Definitely a success."
With relieve I also nod my head: "I'm glad to hear that.."
"So, you have planned more for us, haven't you?~"
"Well, not for today, but the next few days. You still have 6 dates to look forward to!", Being able to just act like a girl in Love makes me happy. It really does.
When we arrive at his car, he walks Infront of the door, I am about to open.
"Is everything okay?", I look at Chan.
"Yeah, I just really enjoyed today", he smiles somewhat sadly.
"I did too!"
"(Y/n), I'm really look forward for our next date", hearing him say that makes me unbelievably happy.
"Me too Chan. Me too."
