Combat Training

Y/N POV

The day ended with orientation for our other classes, meeting teachers, and learning the rules and regulations of the campus. As I was leaving the school, Kirishima wraps his arm around my shoulder

"Hey Y/N" he says

"What's up Y/N" Mina says, "Where you headed?"

"What's up guys" I respond, "Uh...probably home"

"Do you need to go home" Mina asks, "We we're gonna go to the gym and work out. Wanna tag along?"

"Sure. I sure as hell need to go anyway" I respond

We make plans to meet at the gym at 5 o'clock before going out separate ways. I go home and relax for about 30 minutes before getting ready and leaving for the gym

I meet them there and as we start our bench press, I notice some of the other gym goers. Some were students from other schools, some were lower class or new heroes, but there was one in particular that caught my eye. In the corner squatting 405 pounds was Mirko, the hero that saved me a couple days earlier. I blushed seeing her again before Kirishima slaps my back

"Hey man, you're up" he says

I sit on the bench and lift up the bar of 100lbs and as I go down, I struggle to go up

"H-help" I grunt

I continue to struggle with no help and before I drop the bar, someone picks it up with one hand and re racks it

"Took you long..." I shout before I realized who had lifted the bar, "...enough"

Standing before me was Mirko, in a grey sports bra and teal gym shorts. She obviously looked very sexy

"Oh...hey" i blush

"Hey" she says, "Don't you know to not lift so heavy without a spotter"

"I had one but they went off somewhere" I explain as I remember how mad I was at Kirishima and Mina

"Oh I remember you" Mirko exclaims, "You're that one kid that I saved a couple days back. The record breaker"

"Oh yeah...that's me" i blush, "Thanks for the spot"

"Yeah no problem" she smiles

I was surprised that she remembered who I was after our last encounter. I assumed I was just one of the the hundreds of people she saved on a daily basis

"Did you get into UA" she asks

"Sure did" I said confidently

"There we go!" She says punching my arm

We talk for a little more before we split up and do our own things. I wonder around the gym looking for Mina and Kirishima. I find them talking to Kaminari and Sero, two other students from our class

"WHAT THE HELL YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES?!?!" I shout as I punch Kirishima in the head

"Oh hey Y/N" Mina says, "How'd your set go"

"It went well, no thanks to you dickheads" I say, "Where were you guys? I almost died out there"

"Sorry about that" Kirishima laughs nervously, "We saw Kaminari and Sero and decided to go talk to them"

"Who spotted you anyway" Mina asks

"Her" i say as i point to Mirko who was still squatting in the corner

"She saved you?!?" Kaminari exclaims as all their eyes widen

"Uh...yeah" I respond, confused at their sudden shock, "Why"
