The 16 remaining students were all on edge. We knew that whatever the last event was going to be, it was going to force us to go all out, perhaps against each other. I was hanging out with Mina, Kaminari, Sero, and Kirishima, thinking about what our last challenge would be

"It could be a quirk showcase" Mina suggests, "Something where we show off our quirks in flashy ways and whoever does the best wins"

"So like an aesthetic contest?" I ask

"Yeah" Mina says, "It could happen"

"I mean maybe, but that'd be a lackluster way of ending the sports festival" Kirishima says

"What if it's an endurance thing" Sero says

"Well then fuck Kaminari" I laugh

"Bite me" he responds

"What do you think Y/N?" Kirishima asks

"Honestly, I have no idea" I say, "But whatever it is, I'm going to win"

"We'll see about that" Kirishima says

We talk a little bit more talking before all the students were called to the arena. Mina went off somewhere with the other girls and the rest of us made our way onto the grassy field

"Get those foam fingers in the air!" Mic says, "It's almost time for the last event! But before that: Good news for everyone who didn't make the finals! Since this is a sports festival, we've prepared some super fun side games everyone can participate in! We even brought in cheerleaders from America to get your blood pumping! Hold up."

"What are they doing?" Aizawa asks coldly

Standing there amongst the American cheerleaders, were the girls of 1A, looking humiliated and embarrassed

"Looks like Class 1A is goin full on fanservice!" Mic says

I look over and see Kaminari and Mineta high-fiving each other

"What! You tricked us?!" Momo shouts, "You're gonna regret this!"

Apparently, Mineta and Kaminari had tricked them into thinking that all the girls had to dress like cheerleaders before the final round. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a genius plan

"Why is it that I'm always falling for that little perverts stupid schemes?" Momo sighs as she falls to her knees in embarrassment, "I even used my quirk to make these outfits"

"I hate those guys!" Jiro shouts

"Well, we do have a little time before the finals start, and I kinda like these uniforms, so...how about we just roll with it" Hagakure says

"Are you crazy?!" Jiro exclaims

"Have fun participating in these side activities everyone!" Mic says, "Afterwards, the top 16 students from the top 4 teams will be duking it out one on one in a tournament style fighting competition! I promise you're not gonna wanna miss these epic match ups!"

"Awe yeah" Kirishima exclaims, "Finally gettin the chance to show what we're made of. I watch these finals every yeah and now I'm actually in them!"

"Wait, is it always a tournament?" Mina asks

"The finals always a one on one competition, but they switch it up every time" Midoriya explains, "Last year it was a foam sword fighting match."

"Come closer and draw lots to see who you're up against" Midnight says, "Then enjoy the pleasure of the recreational games before we start. The 16 finalists have the option of participating in those activities or sitting out to prepare for battle. I'm sure you all want to conserve your stamina. I'll start with the first place team"
