Aizawa POV

When Rumi and Y/N left the room, I decided to stay back to talk to the police a bit

"Was he lying?" I ask

"No, not a word of what he said was a lie" Tsukauchi says

Little known fact about Tsukauchi, his quirk allowed him to tell if someone was lying or not. There wasn't a distinct activation of physical change whenever he used it either. Pretty nifty piece for this line of work

"Jesus" i sigh, "What have we gotten ourselves into"

"His story completely uproots everything we've ever known about quirks" he says, "I'll relay the information to the higher ups and they can do with it what they want. But for the immediate future, I want to run these names through records. Maybe that'll give us a lead on them"

"He said that he wasn't on any public records. He also said that these Martyrs were gathered over the course of thousands of years" i say, "Odds are they won't have any records either"

"At the very least, we know that the League of Villains is working with these Martyrs, and with what he said their main goal is, this makes both organizations our top priority"

"I'll leave you to it then" I say

"We may be calling him back in the near future" Tsukauchi says, "Just a heads up"

"Thanks" i say as I leave the room

I started to walk down the halls as I began to think about Y/N and his future.

What the hell am I going to do?

Then I realized that Y/N probably didn't tell Kamui about this entire situation given how he might react, especially after the Kamino Ward incident. But at this point, with all this new information, he had to know

I walked over to a pay phone near the entrance to the hospital and dialed his number

"Hello?" He says

"Kamui, we need to talk" i say

Y/N POV

Rumi and I were both cleared from the hospital the next day, so I gathered my things and began to walk to the exit with her. I saw Aizawa and Midoriya sitting in the waiting room watching the news intently

"Kai Chisaki, the young head of a formerly prominent Yakuza group was arrested for the abduction and confinement of a young girl" the news anchor says, "As police transported him however, they were attacked by the League of Villains. During the incident, the Sand Hero, Snatch, who was serving as an escort was killed. There were also members of law enforcement who were injured. This attack on a villain in custody is an unprecedented failure."

"Fucking Shigaraki" Seinikku grumbles, "Shouldve killed the little shit when I had the chance"

"Yeah, you probably should've" I think

"Thanks smartass" he says sarcastically

"This isn't anything you should feel responsible for" Aizawa tells Midoriya who looked particularly shaken, "Please try not to blame yourself"

"Yeah, ok" he says

"Good news is, most everyone's headed back to class" Aizawa says, "The doctors wanna monitor Togata a little while longer. But Recovery Girl was able to completely heal the rest of the students involved in the raid. They're gathering their things now"

"Is it ok if I stay for a bit too" Midoriya asks, "I wanna be here for Eri when she wakes up"

"I'm afraid she's still too dangerous for that" Aizawa says, "Right now, we need to trust that the doctors will help her."
