Attack on Hosu City

Midoriya POV

"That's it!" Gran Torino says, "Keep One for All flowing throughout your entire body. If you can move around while maintaining this...then you'll be on a completely different level than you were at the sports festival"

Keeping One for All on was putting a huge strain on my body, but if I could learn to endure this pain, I'd get the results I was looking for

"We'll begin with three minutes" he says as he pulls out a stopwatch

"Ok." I say, "For what"

"That's the amount of time you have to try and hit me with a smash" he explains as he starts zipping around the room again

He immediately hits me in the face

"Pathetic" he says, "If you can't even hold your own against an old man, how will you protect those who're in need?"

I try to swipe at him but i was too slow and he hit me in the back of the head again

"Someone praised by the Symbol of Peace himself should be able to complete this challenge easily" he says, "No sweat"

I try to use One for All but he hit me again and broke my concentration. I need time to get it going through my body again. A single hit from him doesn't pack too much power, but he's too fast for me to follow with my eyes

I look around the room for something to help me buy time. I lock my sights on a table and dive right underneath it

"I can still see you" Gran Torino shouts, "Buying time won't work either"

He jumps off the ceiling and prepares to ground pound the table. Before he can hit it though, I blast the table up and throw off his attack

"So you were just trying to keep me off you for a minute. Now that was a good idea" he chuckles, still in free fall

I leap up and prepare to hit him while he's in mid air, defenseless

"One for All" I shout, "FULL COWLING!"

I take a swipe at him, but he somehow dodges

"Almost" he says, "You already tried to counter like this once before, remember kid?"

I predict an attack from behind and leap out of the way as a result. This catches Gran Torino off guard and leaves him wide open. I jump off the ceiling, thinking I got him completely wide open, but he somehow dodges. He leaps towards the wall, bounces off of it and kicks me square in the stomach and into the opposite wall

"Times up" he says

"Oh man, it's hard to keep it going like that" I grunt, "I guess I still have a lot of work to do"

"Nice work" Gran Torino says, "You managed to attack me while I had my guard down thanks to your analysis. You must spend a lot of time thinking about strategy and how to fight. You've already grown since yesterday and this was just our first go at using One for All this way."

I watch as he wipes a little blood off his face. I had grazed him

"All right, back to work" he says

"Yeah! Please! What's next, sir?" I ask

"Something very important" he responds, "We haven't had any breakfast this morning, so why don't you go and heat up those pastries again"

I get to it and we begin the remainder of our training

Our little business meeting didn't exactly go as planned. Stain and Shigaraki had been discussing a mutual partnership but it didn't work out. Stain ended up attacking Shigaraki
