Day Before the Dawn

Seinikku POV

"Did you do it?" Shigaraki asks as I walk back into the bar

I take off my coat and hat, tossing them both on a chair on the other side of the room. It was a long day and I had gotten back to base at around 11pm

"Yup. I made some squatters quite happy" i say as I take a seat next to him, "Pour me a vodka tonic would ya"

Kurogiri starts to make my drink as a take a deep sigh

"Are you positive they won't leave the city?" Shigaraki asks

"Eh, they might sell em, but they should stay within the city" i say as I'm handed my drink

"Are you sure" he asks

"Listen dipshit, I've been doing this kinda work for centuries" i say as I raise my voice, "I'm a professional"

"Whatever you say" he says

I grab my drink and lazily stand up from my seat

"I'm going to bed" i say as I walk towards my cot in the back room of the bar

"Good" Shigaraki says, "We got a big day tomorrow"

"Yes" I say, "Yes we do"

Y/N POV

Training the next morning was actually kinda difficult, even for me. We were introduced to the other two members of the Wild, Wild Pussycats, Ragdoll and Tiger, and we were sent off to train

We were told that, like muscle fibers, get stronger the more they get pushed to their limits. So, everyone in the class was forced to use their quirks continuously...for hours

My quirk uses both my physical strength and endurance, and my mental concentration to work. So, I was tasked with holding a boulder the size of a large house in midair, while simultaneously reading The Count of Monte Cristo.

I did this...FOR 12 FUCKING HOURS!!!

By the time the day ended and we walked back to camp, my arms were completely shot, every vein popping out of my skin, and I had a headache that would leave anyone else bedridden

We got back to camp around 5 and none of us had any energy left. All we wanted was to eat a warm meal and shower/bathe in the hot spring

"Now, remember what i said" Pixie Bob exclaims, "We're not serving your food anymore!"

"If you guys wanna eat, you'll have to make your own meals" Ragdoll says, "Starting with curry!"

"Yes ma'am" we all say, lacking any kind of emotion

"Oh man do you guys look exhausted" Ragdoll laughed, "But that doesn't mean you can coast by by making sloppy cat food"

"Oh I see" Iida exclaims, "In the case of rescue, we'll need to tend to the victims physical and spiritual needs. This is still part of the training. COME ON EVERYONE! LETS MAKE THE BEST CURRY WE CAN!!!"

We all changed and started to make dinner. Some of us were tasked with making the rice, chopping veggies, and boiling potatoes. As everyone was doing their thing, I noticed a distinct lack of meat

"Hey did we get meat with this" i ask

"Nope, just rice and veggies" Momo answers

"Don't they know that protein is a necessity for muscle growth. If they're going to train us to death and build us back stronger, then we're gonna need some meat" i say
