A few days had passed since the meeting. The students continued their work studies, and the heroes continued investigating their specific zones for any more evidence of Chisaki. Rumi and I continued our investigation and ultimately couldn't find anything useful, just more drug dens with more of the Erasure drug. The students couldn't say anything about our work studies, which really sucked for me and Kirishima since Mina was constantly asking about it.

Seinikku was also much less talkative during this time. He never really spoke up unless it was something about the case, or about Eri, to which I asked Midoriya. For a mass murderer, he seemed rattled by the entire situation

*flashback to after the conference with Aizawa*

"Don't get too worked up about this" Aizawa says to us, "The Big Three are one thing. They're strong enough to hold their own out there with the pros. But the rest of you will be minimally involved. Asui, Uraraka, Kirishima, Y/N. You didn't volunteer for this, and you're not obligated to participate. It's your call"

"How can you ask us that?" I say, "You told us all this information, told us about what they're doing to this girl, and you expect us to back away? Like we're kids? We're heroes in training damnit! No way in hell are we gonna sit this one out!"

"Yeah!" everyone else says

"The heroes asked you to be in that meeting" Amajiki says, "I don't think they would've wanted you guys to be there if they didn't recognize your abilities. I mean, I've seen for myself that a first year can shine much brighter than me"

"You're gonna have to let that go at some point, ya know" Nejire chirps

"If I can use my power to help that girl, even a little bit, count me in Eraser Head!" Kirishima says

"As long as you all understand" Aizawa nods, "Our scope here is limited. For now, our only goal is to rescue Eri. We won't step in further than that. Given the recent alteration, neither the police nor Nighteye believes that the League of Villains and the Shie Hassaikai have formed a partnership. So the chances are relatively low that the League will be involved in this raid. But if it turns out they're mistaken about that, and the League does end up putting in an appearance, you guys are out"

"Understood sir!" We all say

*flashback ends*

On this particular day I was doing some training in the school gym after hours before a sudden thought came to my head

"Yknow, you've been asking me questions all week" i say, "My turn to ask you one"

"What"

"That man, the one with the Capricorn tattoo, he's a Martyr right?" I ask as I strike a punching bag, "One of your organizations highest ranking members"

"Yeah, his names Buredo Yagiza"

"How does he compare to you in terms of strength" i ask

There's a long silence. I'd been meaning to ask him this since the meeting but I opted not to since I'd basically be asking him information about his friend, but something about how he'd be acting recently made me think he'd be more willing to answer now

"Maybe a bit weaker than me"

I expected him to stop talking but he didn't

"The Martyrs are ranked according to their strength from 1-12"

"Where did you rank?" I ask as I kick the bag this time, "5?"

Jesus. There were 9 motherfuckers stronger than Seinikku I had to worry about
