"Where we headed" I ask as we continue our hike through the woods

I accepted Kamui Woods' offer to intern underneath him. For two weeks, I would be interning underneath a top 10 hero and learning everything I could

When I found the convenience store in flames, I knew exactly who had done it. I also knew that I wasn't going to be able to beat him without proper instruction and guidance. So Kamui Woods was the easy choice

On the first day of the internship, we were hiking through the woods for some reason. I asked Kamui Woods where we were going but he wouldn't give me an answer

"We're..." Kamui Woods says, "...here"

We stopped in the middle of a dirt patch in the middle of the "fucking no where" woods

"Uh...are you sure" I ask, "This looks like every other part of the forest"

"It is" he says, "You see Y/N, most other internships would be students who shadow pro heroes on patrol or something of the sort. With your internship though, you will be exclusively training under me and other heroes from my agency"

"Oh sick!" I exclaim, "I did something like this with Mirko before the Sports Festival. It wasn't as formal or official as an internship, but it was still training"

"So I've heard. She called me after the training and talked about you a lot. That's what caught my eyes about you in the Sports Festival" Kamui explains, "But there is one other thing about this training that will make it different than anything you've ever experienced"

"What is it?" I ask with curiosity

"One of my sidekicks has a quirk called Time Lapse. He has 4 kunais that he imbues with a special ability. He throws the kunai down and time inside the perimeter of the kunai, can be slowed or sped up according to his whim. In short, using his ability, we're going to stretch your 14 days of the internship into 14 months of training"

"14...months?" I gulp

"He will place the 4 kunai down and create a perimeter of 25 square miles. This will act as your training ground for the next 14 months" he explains

"14 months...is a long time to be away from school" i say, "Are you sure this is allowed?"

"It won't actually be 14 months" Kamui sighs, "The world outside of the Time Lapse perimeter will go on as normal, but time in here will be slowed. You will go back to school at the end of the 14 days, but you will go back with 14 months of training and experience"

"14 months of training...in two weeks. Sounds...intense" i say, a little reluctant to accept his offer

"Now, your body will age at the rate of time inside the perimeter, but we will help you with your training during that time" Kamui says

"We?" I ask

"We" a voice says

I turn and see 4 people leap out of the bushes and stand next to Kamui Woods

"A bit theatrical don't you think?" I laugh

"We're heroes. That's kinda our forte" the voice says, "I'm Kitaru"

Kitaru was a younger man, probably early 20s, who definitely had a high energy about him. He had short black hair that was spiked up. His hero suit was a stereotypical ninja outfit, sword and all. The only defining feature of his suit was a long red belt that swayed in the wind

"I'm Jikan" another sidekick says

Jikan was a quiet blonde man with long and unkempt hair. He looked like he was in his late 30s and it was very obvious. His hero costume was very simple and basic. All it was was a black cloak that covered his entire body, two steel gauntlets with 3 clocks on each one, and a ring of 4 Kunai around his belt
