The away team started off with the ball and immediately they went on the offensive. Bakugo started off by passing the ball to Jiro who then passed it back to Asui

The formation that I designed for the team was a 3-4-1-1 with Midoriya as a defensive mid. Overall, it was a tight formation that incentivized a strong back wall with support from the mid

While I got lost in my strategy, Asui wrapped her tongue around the ball, and started to charge up the field. The entire team did.

We watched as the entire team bull rushed us, with Bakugo front and center.

"Get ready guys!" I shout

I went straight after Tsu in hopes of stalling her enough for my defense to get into position, but the second to took a step towards her, she easily slipped by me as if I wasn't there

"Mineta, slow them down!" I shout

Mineta starts to toss his ball at the ground towards Bakugo to try and slow him down. In response, Bakugo blasts himself into the air.

"Frogger, toss it up!" He shouts

Suddenly, I understood their plan

"Midoriya, intercept it!" I shout

As he was about to leap up and intercept Tsu's pass, a screeching sound that caused him to clutch his ears. I was about to throw a rock to intercept the ball instead, but am shot in the back by a small jolt of electricity that throws me off

Jiro and Kaminari

"Momo, anticipate the shot!" I shout

Momo created a bow staff as a way of possibly hitting the ball, even a little bit, off course

Tsu lobs the ball up to Bakugo. I knew he was about to shoot, so I made a bubble of dust around him to try and blind him. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough

A loud explosion is heard as the ball shoots out of the dust like a rocket. Since the dust was covering her view of Bakugo and his shot, Momo couldn't anticipate where it'd go

The ball flew like a bullet into the back of the net. Shoji stood there dumbfounded as the speed of the ball even surprised him

1-0 Away Team

"AND BAKUGO OPENS UP THE SCORING WITH SHOCKING STRIKE!!!" Present Mic announces

The crowd erupts into cheers at the super goal

Shit. They scored on the first fucking drive. But one thing became clear

This entire offense, no the entire team, was centered around Bakugo as their main offense. Tsu could use her quirk to drive past anyone but also set Bakugo up for finishing strikes. Jiro and Kaminari could distract or throw us off with their quirks, giving Bakugo free range to absolutely blast shots into the net. It was a decent strategy

We had to adapt

"Hey ref!" Toru says, "That shock from Kaminari was a foul!"

"Given the fact that quirks are going to be allowed, we're going to be more lenient on foul calls" Ectoplasm says, "Call stands. Goal for the away team"

Luckily, it was our turn to attack now

The whistle blew and Iida kicked it back to me. The plan was to be quick up front and make space for Iida in the middle. Once he got the ball in space, he could pretty much score from wherever. It was just a matter of getting it to him

Before I could think, Bakugo came blasting at me

"That balls mine one way or another!" He shouts

I quickly slice a pass down the line to Mina who was using her acid to skate along the grass. She got the ball and as she was about to cross it in towards Iida, Sero shot out his tape and took the ball from her.
