School the next day was pretty normal aside from the fact that I was dead fucking tired. I had class and my work study all last week plus Saturday. The only free day I had was yesterday and while I loved going to the beach with Rumi, it was still tiring

Bottom line: I was tired and I guess it showed

"Hey you ok dude?" Kaminari asks

I jolt awake from my half asleep position on the desk. Luckily, class hadn't started yet so Mr. Aizawa didn't catch me

"Oh, yeah I'm fine" i yawn, "Just a little tired"

I look around and notice that Midoriya and Kirishima were also half asleep

"HOLY CRAP KIRISHIMA!!!" Sero shouts, "Take a look at this!"

Sero was holding up his phone with an article that showed a news article of a villain attack that Kirishima apparently stopped, complete with a picture of him in action

"Your hero names all over the news sites today!" Kaminari exclaims, "It's frickin crazy!"

"Newcomer sidekick Red Riot bursts onto the scene!" Sero reads, "He rescued innocent civilians and fought a villain on his very first patrol"

"He's not the only one" Mina says as she also pulls up an article, "Look at Tsu, Ochaco, and Y/N. New sidekicks at Ryukyu Agency and Mirko Agency, all there for a work study"

"Wow!" Ochaco exclaims, "That's so cool!"

"When did they even snap that picture?" Tsu asks

"You might have your own fan club like Mt. Lady!" Mina squeals

"Looks like your friends are becoming celebrities in the hero world"

"They put the work in" i say, "They deserve it"

"Im sure you love the attention too huh?"

I'd be lying if I said I hated the attention

"And check this" Jiro says as she pulls up another article, "What heroes in training! They're cute, they're efficient, but even more importantly they managed to get the job done"

"You have your provisional licenses now so I must thank you for your service" Iida says, "But a studenrs top priority is academics!"

"Wait, didn't you tell us that you've been having trouble with your assignments lately" Kaminari asks

"The teachers said they'd set up some extra classes for me" Kirishima says

"Maybe I should've checked into those" Sero says, "I have been slipping"

"Remember, everyone learns at their own pace" Momo says, reassuring everyone

"Yeah, who cares right" Kaminari laughs

I looked over at Midoriay and see that something's on his mind

"What's on your mind dude" i say as I walk over to him

"Oh, just some stuff with my work study" he says, "Taking a toll on me, yknow"

"Yeah I feel it" I sigh, "Hang in there"

"Thanks" he says

The class talked a little bit more before class started and the day began
