RAFAEL DEFEATED JED and Jaxon was proud although he would never admit that to anyone. Jed was pissed and having to submit someone else as the alpha but he had no choice.

It was finally time to announce those elected. The students found themselves in the main hall, sitting in their seats eagerly waiting for them to be announced.

"All right," Emma cleared her throat, "voting is now closed." She clapped her hands making some other students repeat the action, "let's get started."

The magic box placed in front of her glowed and a piece of paper flew out of it. Emma grabbed it and read, "the werewolf representative will be Rafael." The werewolves stood up, clapped and cheered for their representative.

"All right, settle down. Thank you... Next up..." Emma said as another paper flew out of the box. Grabbing it, she spoke, "The vampire representative will be Kaleb." The vampires shot up from their seats, cheering in excitement and happiness while MG's face sunk.

Emma looked at them, "all right guys, settle down!" Once the vampires sat, Emma nodded at them, "thank you." Another paper left the box and landed in her hand. She glanced at the witch and said, "and the witch representative will be... Josie! Thank you all for voting and congratulations to all our newly elected representatives."

Jaxon, who was leaning against the wall pushed himself off, heading outside. He took out his packet of cigarette as he walked a bit further from the school, towards the clearing where there were only grass.

Lighting it up, he brought it to his lips and inhaled, knowing very well that he was addicted and he loved it.

After around fifteen minutes, he heard noises making him turn his head to find Jed pushing Landon down before jumping off. Jaxon contemplated on whether to help or let him get beaten up.

He shrugged and inhaled yet another long drag of his smoke as he watched Jed kick Landon hard in the face before walking away and Jaxon made no move to stop him, having wanting to do what he did to Landon as well.

He still wasn't over what Landon said about him to Hope the other night.

Once Jed left, Jaxon took another drag of his cigarette then he threw it on the grass, crushing it underneath his shoes before making his way towards Landon. "God damn, dude—" he helped Landon up, "who the fuck did this to you?"

Jaxon easily lifted Landon and took him to the infirmary. He was being taken care of and Rafael, Hope and Jaxon were in the room staring at him. Rafael hissed, "I'm gonna tear Jed apart for what he did. He's gonna for what he did. He could've killed him."

"You want to do something to help him?" Hope questioned, "take a walk to the herb garden and get me some hazelwood root." Rafael left without saying anything while Jaxon looked at Hope in amusement. There was no such thing as hazelwood root.

"Hey—uh, Jaxon?" Landon looked at Jaxon who raised his brows, "yeah?"

"I wanted to uh... Thank you for saving me you know?" Landon smiled slightly and awkwardly, "for bringing me here and all that. If not for you, I would've probably been dead."

Jaxon only nod in response before he was about to walk out until Hope stopped him, "can you wait for me outside? I need to talk to you. Give me five minutes, okay?" Nodding, Jaxon stepped out while Hope turned to Landon and the two exchanged a few words about his safety and all that.

When she was done, Hope stood up and left the room, Jaxon was waiting by the door. She looked at him and took a deep breath at his questioning look. "I'm going to ask you something and I want you to be completely honest with me."

"Shoot."

"Did... Did you—" Hope took a deep breath, "did you tell Jed to do that to Landon?"

Jaxon went silent. He stared at Hope and she noticed the hurt that flashed through his grey eyes but it only lasted a second. Then there was a blank look in his eyes and Hope knew she fucked up.

"What if I did?" He asked, taking a step towards her while she took a step backward, "hmm? What will you do?"

"I—" Hope paused, not knowing what to say. Her heartbeat picked up when he took yet another step forward, making her back touch the wall as he stood right in front of her, his cold grey eyes piercing into her soul. He lowered his head and leaned onto her face, their breaths fanning each other's faces and just as she thought that he would kiss her, a smirk grazed his lips, "—just what I thought." Then he walked away, leaving a Flustered Hope behind.
