Today was Harry's birthday. We arrived last night. He drove back to his place and my parents picked me up from the airport. Harry invited me out today. I was leaving for Florence tomorrow morning.
I just finished packing when mom walked in, "Harry's outside" she told me. I found my shoes. "Okay" I said, "have a good day" she told me, I hugged her. "Call later if you need to be picked up, okay?" she asked me, "yes, thanks" I smiled and grabbed my phone. "See you later" I said, "bye" she said.
I walked out of the house, and I saw Harry in his car. I walked over and opened the door, I got in. "Good morning" Harry told me, "morning" I said. "Happy birthday" I said, "how does it feel to be twenty eight?" I asked him, he just started the car. " I feel pretty good," he smiled. "Twenty eight, that's awesome" I nodded. "You turn twenty two in a few days" he told me, "I know" I nodded.
"Where are we going, birthday boy?" I asked him, "I'm not spilling any secrets," Harry just said. "Alright," I said, I looked out. It was a beautiful day, a new month. It means new beginnings.
"Did you guys plan the tour yet?" I asked Harry as I looked at the road in front of us, "yeah" he said, "I don't have a lot to do myself, I just need to prepare for it" he said. "Lambert found a new personal assistant, his name is Marco," Harry told me. "Marco?" I said, please don't say it was the same guy that I knew.
"Marco," he told me, "you know him perhaps?" Harry asked me. "Maybe" I nodded, "do you know his last name?" I asked Harry. "I think it was Marco Jones," he told me. I just looked down at my phone. So it was him.
"So you do know him?" Harry asked me, "yeah we studied together in college," I said. "Great guy" I said knowing it was a big lie. "Good," Harry said, I just looked out. Harry didn't need to know my history with Marco, I didn't want to ruin anything so I didn't say anything else about Marco.
Marco, the same guy who harassed me in college, every day he was rude to me. The same guy who tried and tried to go over my lines and boundaries. The last time I saw him was to our graduation, the same night he was the most abusive towards me. He made me spend two nights in the hospital, where I had to tell my parents that my broken ribs were caused by me falling down the stairs and not the truth, which was because Marco pushed me around and slammed me in a wall multiple times because he was angry with me.
"Are you ready to leave tomorrow for florence?" Harry asked me, I looked over. "Yeah, I packed and all," I said. "How long do you think you'll be there for?" Harry asked me, "a week I think" I answered him, "okay" he said.
Harry parked the car, we were downtown. I opened the door and got out, Harry got out as well. I closed the door and saw Harry walk over to me. I just walked with him, Harry opened a door and we walked into a coffee shop.
As Harry was talking to a few fans I heard a very familiar voice. One I really didn't want to be here right now.
"Hey" I heard, I looked over and saw him. Jake. "Hi" I just decided to say, I took out my phone, tried to use it to show him I didn't want to talk to him.
"How are you?" Jake asked me, "I'm fine," I told him. "Got any plans, I really want to talk to you?" he asked me, so I turned to him. "I'm heading to New York for some work tonight" I lied, "I'm sorry" I just told him. "Okay" he nodded, "maybe if you unblock my number we could figure something out?" he smiled. He smiled like nothing happened.
