I walked down the street that Gemma told me to come to. I saw her in front of a store. "Hey" she said, it was only ten. "Hi" I smiled, I pulled her into a hug. "I thought we could go in here, get a coffee and then I can show you a little bit of London after?" she said, "sure" I nodded.
We walked inside the coffee shop, "let's sit over here" Gemma said. We walked over, sat down by a table. "This is so cute" I said and looked around. "It's one of my favorite places, I sometimes work here" she said. "Harry told me about your charity work" I nodded, "that's only a little part of it, I'm really priviligde to have the platform I have" she smiled.
We got our coffees, I was hearing about Gemma's work and I was telling her about mine too. "I would love to live in Italy" she said, "I don't really get any sun, I'm pale but I enjoy the warmth a lot" she chuckles.
Gemma showed me a few places, oxford street, big ben and we even went to her neighborhood.
"This is so weird" I smiled, "you drive on the wrong side" I joked. Gemma was driving me back to the arena since we've spent a few hours together and I needed to go back and help Lambert out with tonight's outfit. "That's how I feel when I'm in the states" she laughed, "I could imagine" I nodded.
She pulled over by the arena, "it was nice spending some time with you Ava" Gemma said. "I'll see you tonight" she said, "see you later" I said and got out of her car.
I walked inside the dressing room with my phone, I walked over to Lambert and Mitch was on the couch too. "I need a second opinion," Lambert said. I stopped by the hangers. "Thoughts?" he asked me as he held up a shirt, "it looks nice to me" I told him. "Good," Lambert said, "did you get to take a look around town?" He asked me, "yeah it was nice" I told him.
I walked out on the hallway, I was texting Drew. At some point I walked into the bus, I stopped when I saw Harry in my bunk. I locked my phone. "Don't you have your own place to sleep?" I asked him, "I wanted to be here," he said. I sat down on the opposite bunk, it was Nellies. "Mmmh" I said and laid down. "Can we talk?" he asked me. I was looking at the ceiling. "Sure," I said, "I'm-" he said but didn't finish what he wanted to say.
"Do you think we rushed it?" Harry asked me, "us" he said. "Maybe" I nodded, "in some ways" I said. "I've never been more ready to be with someone else, I want you Ava, I really do and I want to prove it to you" he said.
I sat up, looked over at him. "This is going to be very complicated Harry, maybe we should just not be together right now, maybe you should focus on-" He sat up and looked at me. "Maybe we just need to take it slow," I told him. "Yeah sure" he said, he got up, "friends?" he asked me and handed me his hand, "friends for now until you're ready?" he said.
I took his hand, "if that's what you want" I nodded. "Ava please.." he said, "you just said we needed to take things slow, that's what you want.." Harry said. "Don't you want that?" I asked him, "not really no, I know I have strong feelings for you, I told you I love you and I know if it was all me then I would tell everyone about how great you are" he said.
"I just don't think it's easy," I said, "I love you but I also just went through weeks where you did nothing but ignore me" I said. "How can I know you don't do that again, I can't go through it again" I whispered.
