Today was Thanksgiving, I was not one to celebrate. But I guess there's a first for everything. I was spending it with my mom, Gemma, Ava, her parents and Drew. It was going to be nice, I knew.

I have not seen Ava since I left her in Italy, she needed to work and I knew by me being there it might have been a distraction. So I have not seen her for three weeks now.

"I'm so excited," Gemma smiled. We were in my car on our way to Avalanna's parents house. "It's going to be great, I'm sure" I smiled, "I'm sure it will," mum smiled. "Is Avalanna already there?" mum asked me, "she landed last night, I think she went straight to her parents place" I nodded.

I parked the car, and all three of us got out. We walked over to the door and I knocked a few times before it was opened by Drew. "Hey" he smiled, "hi" i said. "Come in" he said, "thank you" Gemma said.

"Hey" Avalanna's parents came out, "hi, thank you for having us" I said. "Always, we're so happy you guys are joining us" Avalanna's mum smiled. "Hi, I'm Anne, Harry's mum" my mum said, "hi, I'm Rina and this is my wife Mandy" Rina smiled. "Hi, Gemma, Harry's sister" Gemma said and gave them hugs.

"Come on in" Mandy said, "it smells so good" my mum smiled. They left me with Rina. "She's pretty hard on jetlag, told me she wanted to help with the food but she collapsed upstairs" she smiled. "I'll go check on her" I smiled, "do that" she nodded.

I opened the door to Avalanna's old room. She was laying on the bed, it was all dark in here. I closed the door and walked over, I opened the blinds. "Ava?" I asked, so I opened the window a little to let a little air in.

"Ava!" I asked, I smiled but when she sat up I think it went too quickly because she fell down on the floor. "Oh my god" she said, "you're okay there?" I asked her. She looked over.

"Hi" I smiled, I sat down on the bed and helped her up by grabbing her by her hands. "Hi" she said, "you guys are already here? How can-" "It's five Ava, you've been sleeping" I told her. "We just got here, your mum said you've been tired" I said, she nodded. I pulled her down on my lap, "it's so good to see you" she told me, "mmmh" I nodded. "I've missed you" I told her, she smiled before she planted a kiss on my lips.

I walked downstairs with Ava, we walked into the living room. "Hi Ava" Gemma said, "hey, it's been too long" Ava told her as Ava hugged her. "I know" Gemma smiled, my mum walked over. "Welcome" Ava told her as my mum gave her a hug, "it's great to see you" mum smiled. I saw Drew hand me a beer, "we're the only two men here, you need this" he smiled, I accepted it. "Cheers" I said, "welcome" he said.

I walked downstairs, and I saw Ava on the couch. We just finished dinner and at some point she sneaked out. "Hi" I said to her, she looked over. "Hey" she said, I took a seat on the couch. "Still tired?" I asked her, "yeah" she nodded. "Desserts ready in ten minutes" I told her, "okay" she nodded. She got up, "hey" I said and grabbed her by her hands. "Everything's alright?" I asked her and she sat down.

"There's pictures out of us" she said, "from Italy" she said. "Oh" I said, "I didn't know" I told her. "I'm sorry Ava," I said, "it's not your fault" she said. "It's just annoying," she told me, I nodded. "I'm still sorry, I know we're taking things slow between us but I'd still like privacy with you" I told her, she nodded. "Just don't.. Don't let the pictures do anything, don't listen to what people say" I told her, "okay" she nodded.
