More than a Marichat tale

'Over here!' ladybug calls.
Catnoir went to join her.
'It's been a while since we had one of these' he said.
'Yeh and god this thing is giant.'
'We'll defeat it just as easily.'
'Of course!'

They battle it and just when they think it's over. It's not. And they had used their powers.

'What's that over there?' Catnoir points to a shadow.
'I can't see from here. Let's go and get a closer look.'
'I'm right behind you.'

They go up close and they can see the entire person now. He is huge.

'HAWKMOTH?!' They chorus.
'No no no no no' ladybug said under her breath.
'What's your plan?'
'I- I don't have one' Ladybug stuttered.
'Hand me your miraculous!' Hawkmoth boomed through the giant.

'No' Catnoir said firmly, standing his ground.
Hawkmoth built another giant to start attacking them.
'Ladybug, we'll de-transform soon, what are we gonna do?'
'Ugh i can't think!' She covered her ears.
'You can do this M'lady! I believe in you.'
Ladybug tied her yo-yo around a Hawkmoth giant and it fell to the ground.
'Find his miraculous!' Ladybug shouts
Catnoir circles Hawkmoth.
Ladybug joins him, 'I think it's the jewel in his chest!'
'Roger that' Catnoir pulls it out.
Hawkmoth shrinks and de-transforms.
Catnoir can't help but gasp as Gabriel Agreste is revealed.
News reporters gather round.
Ladybug is in shock.
'Miraculous ladybug' she manages to say.
'We're about to transform back' ladybug said.
Catnoir has fallen to his knees.
'Catnoir get up, go hide! Quick!' Ladybug pulled him up.
Catnoir got to his feet and sprinted.

Marinette went home and up to her room. She turned on her light and sat on her bed.

Catnoir jumped down into her room.
'Hey Kitty'
'Hewo! May we go for a walk?'
'But it's raining.'
'Even better' he says and takes Mari's hand.

'Now? Oh okay.' She follows him out.
Catnoir grabbed the umbrella on the way out.
'Wait be careful with that!'

He carries her across rooftops.
He eventually puts her down.
Little did she know that they were standing on Adrien's roof.
He puts her down and hugs her, she puts her arms just above Catnoir's waist.

'This is nice' she spoke quietly.
'Yes it is.' He agreed.
Catnoir was holding the black umbrella over them.

'There's something I've been meaning to tell you' Marinette began.
'Shhh' Catnoir gently shushed her, guessing what she was going to say, 'let me go first, princess.'

Marinette nods.

Catnoir smiled, 'This kind of reminds me of when we first met.'
Marinette chuckled, 'at least I'm not upside down this time.'
'No no, not as superheroes.'
'What?'

Catnoir chuckles, 'it was raining just like this, and you were upset with me.'
Marinette frowned in confusion.

He continued, 'I felt guilty and I was a new student, so I just wanted to get along with everyone.'

Marinette still had her arms around him.

'So i handed you this umbrella'
Mari gasped, pulled away, covering her mouth with her hands, but Catnoir held her back against his torso.

Catnoir went on, 'Surprised and confused, you reached out your hand to take it from me. It collapsed on your head. We both laughed about it.'
'I—'

'In fact we are standing on my very house.'
Marinette completely stepped away from him and looked around. Indeed this was where Adrien Agreste lived.

'Here's the umbrella again Marientte' he stretched it out to her.
She blushed and took it. Completely lost for words.

'Plagg, claws in.'
Marinette took an sharp inhale.
'It's really y-you', she stuttered.
Adrian smiled, 'it always was.'
'You mean every night you visited me?'
'Yes.'
'Adrien was in my bedroom, in my bed, even on my lips!?'
Adrien grinned, 'That was me, yep.'
'Oh my goodness... all this time I was loving two boys... it was actually one boy. Thank god.'
Adrien chuckled, 'Yes, I thought you may be rather relieved.'
Marinette still looked like the air had been knocked out of her lungs, and her eyes were starstruck.

After a pause he took her hand, 'Now, I've been wanting to do this for such a long time. Would you like to get an ice cream with me M'Lady?'

Marinette's mind instantly flashed back to one of their early villain fights when he asked this and she had brushed it off her shoulder, completely dismissive.

'I'd love to, Adrien. Let's go get that ice cream.'
