Rydellington Oneshots (Discontinued)

Well This Is Awkward...

"Ross," Riker whispered into his younger brothers ear, "Have you noticed Rydel and Ellington have been really touchy lately? Holding hands, hugging a lot more than necessary?"

"I told you, Riker. And now you finally notice." Ross says, sighing because of the ridiculousness in what Riker was saying. Ross had already figured it all out by himself, and was almost positive that Rydel and Ellington had a secret relationship.

"Whatever. I'm going to talk to Rydel about it." Riker says, approaching Rydel from behind where she was standing with Ellington, them holding hands.

"Hey, Dels? Can we talk?" Riker asks his only sister, curious to know if Ross was right or not.

"Sure, Riker." Rydel says, smiling at her older brother, and releasing Ellington's hand.

Riker walked with Rydel to a more private area where there were no tourists around, and began to speak to her quietly.

"Rydel, is there something going on between you and Ellington?" Riker asks in a neutral tone, trying to seem as if it was no big deal.

"Ellington is my best friend, and only that. There is definitely nothing going on between us." Rydel says convincingly, reassuring Riker that nothing was going on.

"Okay, I trust you, Rydel."

-Six Months Later-

They were all having a great time at the beach, when all of a sudden, Ross had an outburst.

"Riker, you've been so caught up in your current girlfriend lately, that you haven't been helping with songwriting!" Ross yells at his older brother, finally fed up with Riker ignoring the second album.

"I'm sorry, ok? Lindsey is just really important to me, and we've been together for a while now. I'm thinking it's going to last for a really long time." Riker says dreamily, lost in his own world.

Everyone thinks the situation is over with, but suddenly Ross begins to have another outburst.

"Riker, when I have girlfriends that last for a while, I don't let them distract me from the band! You shouldn't let them overtake your whole life!" Ross yells, getting angrier by the second.

"Well, this is awkward... But is now a bad time to say me and Ellington are in a relationship?" Rydel says awkwardly, leaning her head on Ellington's shoulder.

Everyone is silent, but Ross is the first to react, yelling, "I knew it! Told you, Ryland! You owe me and Rocky both twenty bucks! Yes, finally!"

And with that, Ross went running  down the beach, yelling in excitement from the confirmation of his OTP.
