So I have decided to be cheesy af and do a oneshot everyday for 12 days leading up to Christmas... Let's see if I can actually do this. I'll probably fail... Anyway

Warnings: none

Umm.. I think it will be fluff and angst kind of, so enjoy

Rydel was sat staring at the wall at 2 in the morning when her phone rang. It was Ellington. He had left hours ago to see his friends, though he had yet to return. Lately, he had been doing this more often. Since her, Ellington, and her brothers had all moved in together, she heard him leaving. They were all worried about him. He sometimes didn't come home until the next morning, though most nights he came home after midnight wasted.

"Hello?" Rydel said sleepily into the phone. She heard muffled noises, and knew he hadn't meant to call her. She was about to hang up, but then she heard talking.

"-and I just don't know what to do, Kelly." This was Ellington's voice. Why had he gone to talk to his ex-girlfriend? As far as Rydel knew, they hadn't spoken since they had broken up. Why were they together? Were they dating again? Rydel couldn't deny it; she was more than a little bit jealous.

"Ellington, you're in love with your best friend. What am I supposed to tell you? To go for it? I don't want to give you advice that'll ruin your friendship." Now it was Kelly's voice, and she sounded frustrated. She wasn't the only one.

"Even if I did tell her, me and Rydel's relationship is strong enough that we'd live through it if she didn't feel the same." Rydel felt her heart stop as he said this. He was in love with her? Then why was he with Kelly?

"Ellington, I'm not sure why you've come to me, your ex-girlfriend, seeking advice. But I can tell you this; choose what you think is right. Would you rather take your chances of ruining the friendship, or keep it to yourself?"

At this, Rydel hung up the phone. She couldn't believe it.

She knew what she had to do.

The next morning, Ellington returned with bags under his eyes. He didn't seem like he had been drinking, but Rydel knew she couldn't judge at this point. When he walked in the kitchen and saw her, she saw him tense.

"Rydel." He said sleepily, slumping into a chair at the table.

"Ellington." Rydel replies, sipping coffee from her mug. He was wearing the same clothes he had worn yesterday, and his face showed signs of no sleep.

Rydel wasn't sure when she should put her plan into action, but figured now was a good enough time. She sat her mug down on the counter and walked towards him, leaning against the counter across from him. He lifted his head up slightly, looking at her confusedly.

"Ellington, where'd you go last night?" Rydel asks innocently, sending him a small smile.

"Met a friend." He said this carelessly, though Rydel saw the dread flash through his eyes.

"Bullshit." Rydel said, giggling at his expression. "Didn't know you were friends with your ex-girlfriend."

"How did you know?" Ellington looked slightly ludicrous, but slightly pissed off at the same time.

"Oh look, there's mistletoe above you." Rocky says as he enters the room, holding a stick with mistletoe above the both of them. Now her plan was in action. (A/N: always the Captain of this ship amirite)

"Rocky, seriously?" Ellington says, glaring at him.

"Christmas rules. Now kiss." Rocky says, smirking at both of them.

Ellington rolls his eyes and starts to lean on, but Rydel beats him to it. Though she had no experience, she confidently smashed her lips against his, expressing all of the emotions she was currently feeling into the kiss. As they pulled away, she smirked at him, pecking his lips one last time.

"And by the way, you accidentally called me last night. I'm in love with you too, you idiot."

Yep that was short and all over the place but adorable and Christmassy hope you enjoyed!
