Short fluffy drabble for R5_Ready_Set_Rock101

Rydel was curious, though she'd never admit it to her brothers. She was 21 years old; of course she was curious about things like these. She had never kissed anyone, aside from her parents. She wanted to know what it was like to kiss a boy. She wanted to know what it was like to be in love. She wanted to know what it felt like to be the person who was someone's top priority.

One day, she was hanging out with her best friend, Ellington. She had feelings she probably shouldn't have towards him, though she usually ignored them by pushing them to the back of her mind. She could never imagine him having the same feelings towards her. She wouldn't call it love, more a small crush or attraction. Living with him helped nothing, especially since she also lived with her brothers.

"Rydel, do you know what it's like to kiss someone? I mean, I haven't really asked before, but I wasn't sure if you've had your first kiss yet or not..." Ellington asks suddenly, blushing as he spoke.

"Um, no..." Rydel sputters nervously, her cheeks turning a radiant pink.

"It's really nothing special." Ellington replies trying to make her feel better.

"I think after the first time it isn't anything special, especially if it's not with someone you love." Rydel replies, looking down nervously.

"Do you want me to kiss you? Just so you know what it's like? It wouldn't mean anything." Ellington says, causing Rydel's heart to sink. He didn't like her back.

"Only if you're okay with it. You're my best friend, so it's better than having my first kiss with someone random who I care nothing about." Rydel replies, her cheeks still bright red in embarrassment.

Ellington sits down across from Rydel, cupping her cheek gently. He slowly leans in, before pecking her lips lightly and pulling away, gazing into her eyes.

"Could we maybe do it again? For more future experience?" Rydel asks. Ellington responds by kissing her again.

They may or may not have kissed repeatedly for the rest of the night. For experimentation, of course. That's what friends are for, right?

It was supposed to be longer but I might rewrite it. Idk. I wrote it in seriously 15 minutes while I was tired. So night, and have a playlist of good songs I listened to while writing this:

Fake You Out - twenty one pilots

Guns For Hands - twenty one pilots

Car Radio - twenty one pilots

Trees - twenty one pilots

The Run and Go - twenty one pilots

Screen - twenty one pilots

Migraine - twenty one pilots

Basically most of the album Vessel by twenty one pilots. I recommend all of their music. They're amazing.
