The boy walks away from her house, and Rydel slams the door, sliding down the wall as tears begin to slide down her face. All of it was finally settling in, and she didn't believe the boy. As Ellie entered the room to find her mom crying, there was another knock on the door. Rydel shakily wiped her eyes and stood up, opening the door slowly and almost fainting in shock. At the door, was Ellington.

"I had my father waiting in the car. I found him yesterday." Eli says, running a hand through his hair.

"Um, mom? I thought you said Ellington died?" Ellie says from behind her, the shock evident in her voice.

"I thought he did, sweetheart."

After sitting and having a long and emotional chat, Rydel and Ellington were sat silently staring at eachother. Though it was a comfortable silence, they both felt awkward staring at the other.

"Um, Rydel? I have something I was never able to tell you before." Ellington says, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Yes, Ellington?" Rydel says, staring into his eyes nervously.

"When I faked my death, I, um, I was in love with you. I loved everything about you, and you were just the most fascinating person alive to me. And I'm still in love with you, Rydel."

"Good thing I'm still in love with you too, Ellington."

Over the next few months, they began to rebuild their relationship, and after a year, Ellington proposed at the spot in which they met; At The Rage. Once they got married, they purchased a huge home, and moved into together, Eli and Ellie becoming siblings. As they got older, both children were successful in life, and both Rydel and Ellington at the age of 87, they went to bed in eachothers arms, and neither of them woke up.
