Clary's POV
As soon as I get out of the room Alec comes up to me.
"Just the person I wanted to see. I'm sorry to ask you this Clary but this needs to get done. What do you want to do with Jonathan?" Alec asks me and Adley comes to mind right away.
"I want to make sure he's far away from Adley as possible." I give him a clue as to take him to Idris.
"So Idris?" Alec says "Exactly" "Are you doing ok with everything?" Alec asks me sweetly
"Just trying to protect Adley as much as possible from him so I haven't been worrying about myself lately." I say honestly "Fair enough, ok I will get that sorted out Clary." Alec says
"Thank you Alec" I tell him and he puts his hand on my shoulder and gets to his office to get it done. At the perfect timing Jace comes up to me.
"What was that about?" He asks me "Alec is taking Jonathan to Idris. So he stays away from Adley." As I inform him that Jace looks relieved and hugs me tight.
"Good, I don't want him near us again." Jace says "Me either, taking our daughter like that was too far." I agree with him and we still hold each other.
"I love you" Jace tells me "I love you too" I say back and he kisses me on the forehead. I protect my family even when it has my other family involved.
