I said that I was fine but I never said it didn't hurt.
I felt silk underneath me, I groaned and frowned before slowly opening my eyes. The smell was intoxicating, making me want to go back to sleep, which startled me. I jumped off the bed, landing on my rear with a groan.
"Astra!" Kais shouted as he entered the room. "Are you okay? What- why are you the floor?" He chuckled and I rolled my eyes. "Are you okay?"
"I umm, yes I'm okay," I sighed as I got up. "How did I end up here?" I licked my lips and Kais closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Could you umm," He started. "Could you please not do that?" I blushed and nodded. "I brought you here, you were passed out on the floor of your room surrounded by papers, and well, I couldn't leave you there,"
I blushed again. "Why, why didn't," I gulped. "Why didn't you put me on my bed?"
It was now his turn to blush. "You um," He chuckled. "You seem to be having, nightmares, and since, umm, since I thought you wouldn't feel comfortable with me holding you whilst you slept," He took in a deep breath and a small smile was forming on my face. "So the only logical thing that occurred to me was my bed, and I umm, I slept in another room,"
"Thanks," I smiled. "I was just confused, and umm," I chuckled. "Never mind," I shook my head. "I umm, what time is it?"
"Everyone is having breakfast, and then they are off to their normality," Kais replied. "I will leave you to do what you need," I gave him a nod. "I just need to ask if you would like to go out on a date with me,"
I blinked in surprise, he wants to go on a date with me? "I uh, yes," I smiled at him. "At what time? So that I can be ready,"
Kais gave me a beaming smile. "Say 7?" I gave him a nod. "I hope that you have a wonderful day, if there is anything that you need, please just let me know," And with that, he walked away from me.
I took in a deep breath, inhaling my mate's scents one last time, I walked out of his room towards mine, I was still on a mission that needed to end today.

Andrew rubbed his chin as we stared at the walls of my room. Everything was covered with all the information we had gathered, from my talking with Mr Chloros, to all the information Ble gave us from my family.
Everything seemed to be falling into place, I had managed to understand a lot of the situation at hand, but, there was still one question. Why are the hunters behind me?
"Astra," Andrew sighed. "I know that look," I turned to face him. "What is on your mind?"
"I- I just have one question," I whispered. "Why am I so important?" Andrew raised an eyebrow. "They forced us out of Greece because they were looking for me, and now, they are after me as well," I sighed. "But, why?"
