I had so much left to say.

As Loki and Kais fought, I tried to make an escape and ensure that the Pack was not dying, but another wolf tackled me to the ground as I ran. I tumbled and tried hard to regain my ground, but the wolf was bigger and stronger than me. His fangs were too close to my face, and it was then that I knew who it was... Dameon Othonos.

"So you finally show your face," I smirked. "Took you long enough, or were you waiting for someone to murder your "partner" so that you could show yourself?" The wolf simply snarled at me. "Come at me, dog," I kicked him and ducked away.

In a swift movement, he was trying to attack me again, but I turned into my wolf and attacked back. This was the moment I was waiting for, I needed to release all the hate and anger I had inside of me.

I could feel myself getting bit, but at the same time, I was fighting against him, hurting him just as he was hurting me. I could feel myself getting weaker and weaker at the moment, but when I heard Kais' howl, I knew I had to win. Mustering the last strength I possessed I went towards his throat and took a chunk out of it.

"Stay down," I panted. As Dameon and I transformed back. "You're defeated, Loki is dead," I sighed and collapsed, trying to cover myself.

"Astra!" Kais came running towards me, engulfing me in a hug. "Dameon," He barked and nodded towards Nathaniel, Liber and Andrew. "You know what to do,"

Dameon scoffed. "You are going to punish me for avenging my sister?" Kais growled. "Or are you going to punish me for almost destroying your life?"

"I'm not going to punish you," Kais replied. "I'm going to end you," Andrew caught me just like that as Kais launched towards Dameon.

I yawned as I came back to my senses, I could feel all of my body in pain, everything hurt, from the top of my head to my toes. As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw that I was inside my old room, but I couldn't feel anybody near me.

I sat up on the bed and focused on using only my hearing, I knew that if I alerted Ble she will answer but that might also alert everybody. I could hear people at the Pack House, laughing and talking, everyone was relieved that all the threats were away, but what caught my attention was the fact that they were wondering where Kais was.

'Where are you?' I questioned Kais through our link.

'I'll be there soon,' Kais replied and I frowned. 'I'll explain everything when I am with you,'

I rolled my eyes and let myself fall back to the bed. I have never liked being in the dark, and waking up from a battle and not having my mate next to me, made me wonder what was more important than me...

"Ahh, finally!" Andrew exclaimed as he barged into my room. "Sleeping beauty decided to grace us with her presence,"

I rolled my eyes. "Where were you?"

Andrew stared at the door and motioned his ears. "Of course I was worried girl!" He chuckled and I frowned. He came closer to me and barely used his voice to whisper: "Kais is furious," I raised an eyebrow. "Apparently, Dameon let the Hunters know our location before he died,"

I gulped. "So they are trying to keep them out at the fake city?" I whispered back, and Andrew nodded. "That is why Kais isn't here?" Andrew rolled his eyes, yeah I knew stupid question. "What are we going to do about that?"

Andrew plopped himself next to me. "I don't know Astra, all I know is that I can't show myself,"

"Of course not," I sighed. "How come Ble didn't alert us about the Hunters?"

"About that," Andrew stepped away from me and I groaned. "Do you remember that trackers that were being used?" I nodded. "Well, it seems that the Mayor found another genius and I have no clue how, but they knew about her and disabled her,"

"You mean Ble is gone!" I shouted. "How the hell is she gone? We have worked so hard on her!" I cried out.

"Calm down Astra," Andrew pleated. "You can't get upset, or Kais will know I spilled all the beans," He whined. "I'm not even supposed to be here," I gave a sad chuckle. "I think we can bring her back, but I don't think we should focus on that right now,"

"I know, I know," I sighed. "How are we going to get rid of the hunters?"

"That is the answer I don't have," Kais spoke as he entered the room. Andrew yelped and I couldn't help but chuckle. "I knew you were here. Do you think I don't have security tight around here?"

"What are we going to do then?" I questioned as Kais sat with me. "Have they figured something about the town being a were community?"

"Not yet," Kais replied. "But we need to think a lot because they are never going to go, now that we are on their radar,"

"I think-" a blaring alarm cut me off. "What is that?"

"They trespassed," Kais jumped out. "Andrew, take her to the hiding spot, I need to make sure everyone follows the plan,"

"What?" I called out as Andrew dragged me, Kais' face was the last thing I saw before an explosion occurred.
