We are too young to be this sad.

After the failed attempt Loki and Dameon Othonos did to attack our Pack, we, as in Kais, Nathaniel, Andrew, Liber, and I decided that what we had tried as practice was going to be our new normal.

I am not sure as to why Loki was so keen on getting caught, but I knew that it was for nothing good, so when they dropped him off at my old town, I knew we might have dodged one bullet, but there were tons more to come.

I had tried to figure out if the hunters had gotten Loki, but we couldn't figure out anything... I mean, not unless we went back to town, given that I had gotten rid of all the numbers from people back home... Stupid Hunters. I even lost my practice.

I yawned as I made my way around the Pack House, yesterday I had slept late because of the date I had with Kais. Now, this is a secret... I just might be ready to finish the whole process with Kais, letting him mark me and him letting me mark him, and then well, the mating process...

"What are you thinking about?" Nathaniel appeared next to me. I raised an eyebrow at him. "You look very deep in thought," He shrugged.

"Uhm," I licked my lips. "I want to know if Loki survived on the Hunter's Town," Nathaniel hummed. "What do you know?"

He smirked at me. "Well, I so happen to have a friend back in that town," I simply stared at him. "Come on, I'm about to tell Kais what I just figured out," I shrugged and followed him, this was going to be good.

Kais was typing away on his computer as we entered the office. He raised his eyebrow and stared at us. Nathaniel simply smirked at him and took a seat. I looked between the two of them and decided to go and sit down next to Nathaniel.

"Yeah?" Kais questioned. "I've got things to go through," He sighed. "Strategy plan and all, you know," He chuckled.

"Waiting for Liber and Andrew," Nathaniel responded.

"What is Andrew's position?" I questioned and Kais chuckled. "What?"

"He doesn't have one," Kais replied. "He is simply the brother of the Beta and the best friend of the Luna, so he gets some privileges," I barked out a laugh and Liber and Andrew got inside the office.

"Why are we summoned?" Andrew sighed. "I was about to take a nap,"

Nathaniel rolled his eyes. "I have news on Loki's whereabouts," He started and we all stared at him. "He was captured by the Hunters, but later released," I frowned. "The Hunters are working alongside Loki and Dameon Othonos,"

I growled. "So, how is it that they don't know that we are a Pack?"

"I believe that it is because Dameon doesn't want for people to know just yet," Liber started. "If I am not mistaken, Mrs Rose did mention something about the town prepping for something,"

"Mrs Rose?" I questioned and turned to face Andrew. "A lady that has a dog named Piglet?" Nathaniel nodded. "She is a wolf too?" Kais nodded and stared at me weirdly. "How come I didn't know that?"

"You know her?" Liber questioned and I nodded.

"Yeah," Andrew replied. "I believe that we helped Nathaniel once in her place, plus Piglet was Astra's patient,"

Nathaniel growled at the memory and I couldn't help but laugh. "Either way," Nathaniel scuffed. "We have her on the inside, her wolf has been dormant for years, and has infiltrated so well that even the Mayor doesn't know that she is a wolf, and is rather a trusted member, so she is going to be letting us know when another attack is going to happen,"

"Do we have an escape route for her?" I questioned and Kais frowned. "She is risking her life by helping us, the least we could do is have her back,"

"No," Mumbled Nathaniel. "Could you maybe create one?" I turned to look at Andrew and we both nodded. "Great, work on that, I have a meeting with border patrol, Liber you're coming with me, let's leave Kais working on whatever he was doing,"

Everyone stood up to leave and I turned to look at Kais, a small blush appeared on my face. "Yes, agapi?" Kais chuckled.

I gulped and licked my lips. "I, umm, I need to discuss something with you, later," I whispered and he raised an eyebrow. "Nothing bad I promise!" I quickly added.

Kais chuckled and stood up. "Sure," He whispered before inhaling my scent and kissing my head. "Go plan with Andrew before he drags you away,"

I kissed his cheek and walked away to meet with Andrew, we had a friend to save.

I said goodbye to Andrew and Nathaniel, who had arrived at our workshop only to snoop away at how we were doing.

I have to say, that Andrew finding Nathaniel has been the most amazing thing that has happened to him. I knew he always felt odd, like something was missing, and it wasn't his wolf, it was his adelfós, his twin brother...

I let myself wander around a bit before I walked back towards Kais' office. I couldn't prolong this longer, because I knew that I was going to chicken out, or even worse, something bad was going to happen, whether it was now or never.

Mustering all the courage I had in me, which let me tell you that it is a lot more than I thought, I walked over to his office and knocked at the door.

"Come on in," Kais' tired voice called out. "Agápi mou, could you give me two minutes?" I gave him a slight nod. "I just need to send this email before I forget about it," I gave another nod and a small smile.

I stared at him as he focused on his task, and I knew that I was making the right decision. He was my other half, and I had to thank that I didn't have to suffer looking for him any longer, so what delayed the fact that I am already head-over-heels for him?

"I'm done," Kais spoke and closed the laptop. "What is it that you want to talk about?" He questioned as he knelt right in front of me.

I blushed and he smirked. "I want you to mark me," I gulped and Kais growled.

"Could you repeat that please?" Kais spoke through gritted teeth.

"I want you to mark me," I smirked as I saw the power I had over Kais at the moment.

"Jesus gynaíka," He took in a deep breath pulling me up with him. "You are going to be the death of me," I chuckled. "Let's go somewhere more private before I claim you here,"

I let out another nervous giggle as Kais dragged me towards his room.
