(M) Sabre POV:

I glanced from "Dopple" to "Gänger", the amusing feeling from before beginning to quickly fade. Once again, both of their eyes flickered with a confused recognition, but I didn't really care. What I didn't expect to happen, though, was what Dopple said next.

"Well, anyways, Sabre, are you hungry? I know we just met, and you probably don't trust me, but I'd love it if you'd try my stew. It's my own special recipe!" she'd said with an overly optimistic voice. Almost too optimistic, like it was forced. "Dopple" seemed way too friendly, and I did not trust that.

Suddenly, before I could dismiss her question, she shoved some stew at me. I felt a strange, sudden panic, and I pushed it away. I may be powerful, but could I withstand poison? I wasn't going to take my chances- especially with worthless people like these two. Not to my surprise, "Dopple" was clumsy, and the stew clattered to the ground, spilling all over the grass. Serves you right, I muttered in my mind. Looking back at "Dopple", I noticed that her expression had changed, and when she spoke, I could tell she was upset.

"I-... My-... My stew..." she was barely able to choke out before looking away, tears streaming down her face. In the past I would've felt pity. But now- now I felt amused. Crying over stew? What a worthless low-life.

"...Are you seriously crying over some stupid stew?" I asked, hiding a smile. To my joy, she responded defensively, pain in her voice.

"N-no! Of c-course not! W-why would I cry over some-.. Some dumb stew..."

"Hmm." I could tell that I'd hit a nerve. Gänger's eyes flared with anger, and she spoke up.

"You know, the whole point of stew is to eat it, right?" she said furiously. I hid my amusement once more, and gave a dismissive grunt. These two were easy to mess with, that's for sure. I began to walk away, but I was stopped when Gänger spoke up again.

"What the- where do you think you're going, buster?! You need to apologize to Dopple! You disrespected her stew!" she steamed, her eyes sparking with an undeniable hatred. Good for you, weakling. Nice to see you have a backbone- for now. I gave them one last glance before teleporting away. It was fun messing with them and all, but they were just a waste of my time.
