(?) ??? POV:
The lens of a softly whirring machine zoomed in on two figures standing outside of a colorful house. Hidden by the trees in the forest surrounding the house, the machine slowly crept closer to the figures. Its lens zoomed in even more, focusing on the Red Steve. The machine would occasionally "perk up", observing the non-Steve for a few seconds before turning its attention back to the Red Steve.

The machine hovered lower until it rested on the ground. Suddenly, the whirring increased, and various clicks could be heard.
{INPUT COMPLETE. AWAITING CUE...}
Suddenly, both figures flinched, giving a slight yelp of surprise as, in the distance, a loud firework exploded, showering the sky above the trees with bright red sparkles.
{CUE RECEIVED. INITIATING TELEPORTATION ABILITIES... TELEPORTATION ABILITIES SET. PERMISSION TO BEGIN: GRANTED}
The machine went immediately silent, and it zoomed towards the Red Steve in a zig-zag pattern, making it impossible to focus on the machine. Arrows flew from various places which lined the edge of the clearing that the house was in. They landed just inches away from the non-Steve, causing the figure to yelp and scramble toward the house. It was facing away from the Red Steve; exactly as planned.
Before the Red Steve had time to react and follow the non-Steve into the house, the machine reached him. It reached out its small, claw-like grasp and grabbed the Red Steve's arm. Then, lightning enveloped the machine and the Red Steve, their surroundings changing drastically.
They were now at a tall, menacing cliff, standing beside a poppy that lay near it. The poppy seemed out of place, as there were no other flowers to be seen. The Red Steve tore away from the small machine's grasp, staring at it in confusion and terror. Suddenly, two figures appeared behind the Red Steve, and they grabbed him, covering his mouth so that he couldn't speak, and holding his arms behind his back so that he wouldn't be able to fight back. The Red Steve struggled, pure terror and desperation filling his gaze as he tried to look and the people restraining him. It was a fruitless effort, however, and the two figures easily overpowered him.
An opening suddenly appeared along the wall of the cliff, big enough to be considered a doorway. When it opened, the sound of scraping rock could be heard, and the Red Steve flinched at its sharpness. Then, the figures forced the Red Steve to walk into the doorway, leading him through a strange, winding maze, and finally into a room with seven chairs surrounding a long table. The floor was a red carpet, incredibly plush compared to the rough rock walls of the room.
The machine quickly zoomed in behind the group, and the scrape of rock against rock could be heard once more as the opening closed behind it. Once the machine made it into the room with the seven chairs and long table, it went through an open door, making its way to a small platform before resting on it. Machinery hooked onto the small machine, and it powered off, though this time there was no humming to be silenced.
Voices could be heard from the other room; the room where the two figures had brought the Red Steve.
"Who are you?! Where did you take me?! What is the meaning of this?!" a panicked voice could be heard; presumably the voice of the Red Steve.
A chuckle answered the panicked voice. A chuckle void of warmth, though not threatening in any way. It seemed merely that the one who chuckled simply had no joy to utilize in his sound.
"I suppose you wouldn't recognize us. After all, I'm sure you assumed we were dead. Allow us to refresh your memory."
Someone gave a sudden gasp. "Pensive Red Steve! Intransigent Red Steve! You-... you're both alive?!"
