(M) Sabre POV:

"-I'm just trying to help you; to help all of us. Why can't you see that?"

The only thing stopping me from smiting Dopple this very moment was my appallment at her words. "Help me?" I began to laugh at how incredulous her notion was. "Help me? Nothing could help me. And even if something could, it sure as heck wouldn't be you."

Dopple's expression, though still displaying her stubbornness, shifted to that of a pitying look. She looked ready to say something in return, but was immediately stopped by Gänger. Gänger had grabbed her wrist, her eyes wide as they stared at Dopple.

Dopple gave her sister a puzzled look. "Is something wrong?"

Just then, the ground shook, starting at a low rumble before increasing in strength, almost knocking all of us off of our feet. What the heck?!

"I dare say the only problem here is you, pest," a low, familiar voice seemed to sneer in response to Dopple, coming from above.

That voice... "Get out of my universe, The First Curse. You have no right to be here!" I ordered the man that looked not unlike crying obsidian, meeting his gaze after spotting him sitting precariously on the roof of a colorful house a few blocks away.

"I have every right to be here. That idiot of a 'savior'"-The First Curse did finger quotes at the word-"has dealt enough damage. And you're no better! You don't seem to have anything better to do but fight me!"

What is this guy on? He's just sputtering nonsense! I glanced at the others. Gänger had a tight grip on Dopple's arm, getting between her and The First Curse as though attempting to shelter her sister from the sight of him. M was noticeably trembling, pale and terrified at the sight of him. Elite, his sword drawn, stood protectively close to M between him and The First Curse, his expression wary. That pathetic worm is still trying to redeem himself to M, I see. Does that idiot have a death wish?

"If it's a fight you want," I glared at The First Curse once more, drawing my Time Sword as I began to crackle with energy, "then it's a fight you'll get!"

Focusing my energy, I shot out a beam of power at The First Curse where he sat. He calmly raised his hand and deflected the beam, sending its power and light up into the sky where it promptly exploded and spread like a massive firework. Are you kidding me? I guess projectiles won't do much. Time to get my hands dirty.

(F) Gänger POV:

An instinct not my own moved my body, carefully pulling Dopple away from the man Sabre had called 'The First Curse' and blocking her view of him. The sound of his name alone sent shivers down my spine of fear and wariness. You must protect her at all costs. She can't know. You must defend her wish.

Sabre suddenly flew at The First Curse, chipping off a section of the roof of my house as he went. They were suddenly locked in close combat, much of it hand to hand. Going high in the sky, they soon began moving faster than my eyes could follow. Since when could Sabre fly? Distract her.

"Gänger, what's happening? What are you doing?" Dopple asked, innocent and confused as I continued to block her view of the battle.

"Doesn't matter. What's more important is where did you go?! You just left us after you woke up! And when Elite came back after following you, you still didn't come! And why were you talking to Sabre?!"
