It was another day at Magnolia, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping and the streets were still as busy as ever. With students going to school and adults going to work. Overall it was a bright day and the best part was, it wasn't raining.
Natsu was on his way to school using his red bike to get there. Since it didn't rain much last night nor today the roads weren't really wet. It was much easier to cycle to school. He doesn't need to word about slipping because the roads were completely parched.
Once he got to school he immediately went to his locker to get his textbooks.
Just as he was about to walk away towards his homeroom, he was greeted by Levy who was on her way there as well.
"Hey Natsu, Good morning!" Levy greeted.
"Morning."
"Are you on your way to the classroom?" She asked.
"Yep. Are you?"
Levy nodded her head, replying to his question.
"Then why don't we go together. I could use some company." Natsu said.
"Sure! Why not?"
They walked along the long hallway dodging the other students that were either going to class or going to skip.
"So how are you feeling?" Levy asked.
"I'm doing great." Natsu started but immediately paused.
"See?! Like I told you, a little rest is all you need to get rid of all that stress." Levy said, confidently.
"Yeah, yeah you were right as usual"
But in all honesty it wasn't rest that put his mind at ease, it was the fact that he saw her again last night.
They finally got to their homeroom. The teacher still hasn't arrived yet and there weren't that many students there. They were pretty early compared to the actual time their class started.
Natsu sat in the second row near the window, while Levy sat in front of him.
"So what did you do last night? Aside from working."
The question caught Natsu off guard. He was debating on whether or not he should tell Levy what happened last night, because it was obviously not a dream nor was he going crazy. It was 100% real.
Sure he knows that Levy can be trusted, but the question is...
...will she even believe him?
He can try to tell her the truth over a million times but neither Levy nor anyone else for that matter will even believe it.
It was so weird and strange after all. A girl who only appears when it rains? Who wouldn't laugh at that ridiculous story?
At first he was one of the people that didn't believe it but after last night he immediately switched to the side where people weren't believed in and thought that they were crazy and just seeing things.
It was basic logic, if he didn't believe any of what they said before then why should they believe anything he says about the topic right?
That's just how the world works. No one is gonna believe anything you say unless they see it for themselves.
Pretty unfair right?
"Nothing much, just the usual. Go to my father's grave after work, go home, eat, shower then sleep." Natsu said.
He left out the part where he met the Rain Maiden that everyone was talking about and that he befriended her.
"Natsu, how many times have we told you to not go to the cemetery at night especially when it's raining?! What if you get attacked by a zombie or something?!" Levy scolded.
