Chapter 15

Today was the day both of them have been looking forward to. Today was Magnolia High School's annual cultural festival.

It was now 11:30 and many students from different schools as well as some citizens of Magnolia were still arriving.

It was a sunny morning. The sun was out and shining and the best part was that there wasn't a single dark cloud in the sky. The students of Magnolia High that worked really hard for this day were thanking the heavens for this wonderful miracle.

All the students of Magnolia High came to school early so they could prepare their own booths. As of now they are all in their specific stations, while the members of the student council are roaming the school premises.

Natsu was currently in the cafeteria along with Gray, Juvia and Gajeel.

"Juvia can't wait for the fireworks display later tonight. It would be so romantic. Sitting under the night sky while watching the fireworks together. Right darling?" Juvia said.

"Yeah. Of course, that is if it doesn't rain tonight, but I'm sure it won't. I mean the day has already started with no rain. What're the chances that it will still rain tonight? Am I right?" Gray said.

"I guess, but you never know. It might rain. So just kiss your romantic evening together goodbye." Gajeel said, snickering afterwards.

"Don't mind him you two he's just jealous that he can't do all of those with Levy." Natsu said, taking a sip of his milkshake, which he bought from one of the booths earlier. What he said made Gray burst out laughing.

Since Levy is also a member of the student council she is with the others patrolling the school.

"What'd you say?! Are you looking for a fight?!" Gajeel exclaimed, standing up from where he was sitting.

"Not today Metal Head, I'm meeting a friend later and I don't want my handsome face to get damaged." Natsu said.

What Natsu said shocked them. Natsu never backs down from a fight. If Erza were there she would probably be the most shocked among them.

"Wow. Cocky much."

"Anyways, who's this friend that you're meeting Natsu-san?" Juvia asked.

"You guys don't need to know that." Natsu said.

"Speaking of meeting a friend, isn't Jellal supposed to drop by today?" Gray said, changing the subject. He figured as much that no matter how much pestering they do to Natsu he wouldn't tell them anything a single detail on this friend of his.

"Now that you mention it. Where is he? Is he supposed to come a little while later?" Juvia asked.

"You guys shouldn't worry about him, knowing him, he's probably with Erza already." Natsu said.

"You're probably right on that one." Gray said.

"By the way, shouldn't the two of you, supposed to be in your homeroom helping your classmates there?" Natsu asked.

"Our shift isn't until later. I could ask you two the same though." Gajeel said.

"Our class is doing a face painting activity and since Juvia and Natsu-san can't paint they decided to just skip." Juvia said.

"No kidding, if you were going to do the painting your class would surely lose money than earn it." Gajeel said.

Natsu just scoffed at his remark and took another sip of his milkshake.

"What about you? What're your class doing?" Natsu asked.

"Well our class is doing a horror booth." Gray boasted.
