I can't believe my one year here in Sydney is almost up. A few more months... time really does fly when you're having fun. I've had the chance to explore different parts of Australia... Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth. Not Melbourne though. I've always wanted to explore Melbourne... scheduled a trip several times but always had to cancel at the last minute. But this time, finally, after several months here in Australia, matutuloy na rin ako.

My phone beeped while I was busy finishing packing my things.

Ate Gia:

Take care and enjoy! Take lots of pictures and post, okay?

Clara:

Finally! Natuloy ka rin. Sayang, we had to postpone our trip there. We could have explored Melbourne together. I would have dragged you to the best coffee shops and restaurants.

I shook my head and let out a small laugh. These two... they wouldn't stop bugging me. Kung hindi lang talaga siguro emergency kaya napostpone 'yung trip nila papunta rito, kasama ko sila. Those two can be so annoying but I love them both to no end – they're literally like my sisters.

Kayla:

Thanks, Ate! Hahaha. You know I post a lot of photos and stories during my trips!

Ate Gia:

Yeah yeah... But none of you in them! If it wasn't for me or Clara, you won't have pictures of you in the places we visit.

You love posting photos of everything, except for yourself :p So please post photos of yourself from this trip naman.

I chuckled. But it's true though. I rarely have photos of myself when I travel. I wasn't as opposed to the idea of having photos of myself taken in places I visit or restaurants I eat at... it's just that it's not a priority.

Kayla:

Lol. Next time, C! Don't worry, my itinerary includes all the good places! I'm definitely going to enjoy this trip ;) And yes, before you even ask, just send me your list and I'll get them all for you. Kahit pa gaano kabigat and karaming coffee beans and chocolates yan. Haha!

Clara:

You're the best! Send you the list later :D Will send din some recommendations.

But come to think of it, you probably don't need it na. Your itineraries are always the best. Enjoy! Eat lots of good food and please try to flirt with someone? Para naman may excitement :P

I rolled my eyes. Clara and her obsession with me dating and having fun. Before I left for Sydney, her bilin was "Go have fun and date around while you're there. Live your life! But be safe!"

"Good morning, Ma'am. Welcome aboard!" The flight attendant smiled and greeted me.

I smiled back at her and showed her my boarding pass.

"Your seat is on the left." She motioned after she checked my boarding pass.

I thanked her then went to my assigned seat.

"Gosh, my hand carry's so heavy," I muttered under my breath.

Hand carry nalang 'to, ang bigat pa.

I'll just be in Melbourne for a week but I almost paid for extra baggage when I checked in kanina.

"Need a hand, Miss?" someone asked.

I turned my head and looked up. I debated between getting annoyed at him for thinking I needed help and couldn't stash my bag or appreciating that some guy was gentleman enough to offer help. Since hindi naman ako unreasonable na tao, I chose the latter. Nagmamagandang loob na nga siya, magagalit pa ako?
