I placed the can of popcorn on top of the desk in my hotel room and plopped myself on the couch. I took out my phone and checked my messages.

"15 messages?" I furrowed my brows.

Xavi as in Xavi, friend of Leon 'yan?

Okay, I canot handle all the suspense.

I messaged Leon to ask if Xavi is in Japan.

Leon said Xavi's in Japan for a vacation.

I laughed when I read all the messages. Nagkakagulo na pala sila rito sa chat group namin. You'd think it was a matter of national security kung makapagreact sila and investigate.

Eh bakit kasi bigla ka nalang di sumagot?

Maddie:

Yeah. We were left wondering. Haha.

Anyway, Xavi and I bumped into each other here in Tokyo that's why he was the one who took my photo.

Clara:

I didn't know how to explain to Maddie what was happening without having to revisit the history between Xavi and me. Maybe in time, I would be able to tell her everything.
