Three Little Pretties

Clara:

Have fun in Japan, Kams! Mag-uwi ka ng sashimi. Hahaha!

Maddie:

Enjoy Japan, Kams! Please bring home all the kitkat flavors you can find! :D

I chuckled while I was seated near the counter in the boarding gate.

Kayla:

@Clara Lol! I'll send it to Sydney?

@Maddie Yup! Will buy you all the kitkat that I can find :)

I was so thankful that my bosses at work allowed me to go on a two-week vacation. I rarely took time off work and sometimes, even on leaves, if required talaga, I'd also go to sites. I only really get to fully relax when I do my out of the country trips.

I landed in Tokyo around 1:00 PM so I went straight to the hotel and checked in. I quickly freshened up and arranged my luggage. After that, I headed out to eat 'cause I was really hungry and I cannot wait to eat yummy Japanese food.

My first stop was my favorite ramen place, Ichiran. I was in front of the vending machine in no time since the line wasn't long. I chose an order of ramen with egg and added extra sliced pork. I checked for an available seat and went inside to find my seat. I opted medium for richness and flavor, even for the noodle texture, had the garlic and green onions removed and half for the level of spiciness because it was already spicy for me even at that level then waited for my ramen.

Next on my itinerary were parks. Ueno was the closest so I chose to go there and enjoyed walking since the weather was breezy.

The park was really huge. There were so many trees and so many pathways. Feeling ko maliligaw ako kakaikot but I just explored it without minding any direction. Worst case, I could ask around how to get to the gate naman. The people here are very nice and helpful despite the language barrier. Minsan, nakakahiya to ask because they'd even go out of their way to accompany you to the location.

Hi girls! We should really plan another trip soon :)

Maddie:

You look gorgeous, Kams!

Gosh, I miss autumn.

Clara:

Nang-iinggit ka na naman.

Well...

Maddie:

You two! Pfft. I'm stuck here in Manila. Hello!!!

Clara:

Hahaha! Get your ass here to Sydney, Mads!

Kayla:

Lol.

The following day, I started my day with McDonald's. I always looked forward to Japan Mcdonald's breakfast because they had McGriddles. It was like McMuffin but instead of muffin, the buns were pancakes which had a bit of sweetness to it from the maple flavor. I always get the sausage one because they're my favorite.

The Meiji Jingu Gaien park was also huge like the other parks here in Japan. I just kept walking around looking for the line of gingko trees. Sobrang ganda maghang out sa parks nila rito because it was really relaxing and very clean. You could do picnics in their parks too. There were a lot of dogs running around din and playing with their humans.
