"It's crazy, right?" I let out a laugh. I walked to explore the vineyards and he followed me and walked beside me.
"Right? Who would have thought that we'll run into each other again?" A boyish grin escaped his lips followed by a hearty laugh.
We continued walking around in silence while sipping our wines and enjoying the sunset.
"Tim sent me our photos," he casually mentioned.
I looked at him with my brows furrowed.
"Oh. Tim, the guy from the Twelve Apostles who took our photos," he explained.
"Right right. I forgot. And I thought he forgot all about the photos."
"Nah." He shook his head. "He asked me for my email and sent it to me 'cause he forgot to ask you raw."
I nodded at him.
I forgot all about it, actually. Sobrang pagod ko na from the tour yesterday. I just wanted to get to the hotel, shower, eat, and sleep kaya hindi ko na rin naisip that I told the guy I'll give him our emails.
"I can send it to you... if you want a copy?" He offered then grinned. "Let me know where I should send it."
I just met him yesterday, well the other day if icocount ko 'yun sa airplane, but strangely, he just really had it in him to make people feel at ease. And it was not just me. Even in the tour yesterday, I saw him chatting with most of the people from the tour and they all just really warmed up to him. Like lahat ng kausapin niya parang at ease sa kaniya. What a charming guy.
"Thanks. Send it to me via instagram dm?" I beamed at him.
"Sure. What's your IG?" He paused. "Just type it. Here." He handed me his phone.
Buti okay lang sa kaniya to have a stranger hold his phone.
Instagram's already opened so I just typed my username and returned his phone.
"Got it. Is it alright if I follow you?"
I stopped walking.
Napatingin ako. I stared at him.
Is he really like this? Always so nice, polite, and proper. Not that it's a bad thing. While most people are not rude, hindi rin naman lahat ng tao well-meaning and genuinely sincere.
"Why?" he asked.
He probably felt awkward and weirded out. Kanina pa yata ako nakatitig. Nakakahiya.
"Nothing. Sorry, I was just thinking of something." I reasoned out. Of course I won't tell him in detail. "Yup, sure. I'll follow you too," my lips curved upwards.
xavinotjavi started following you
"Wow, quite creative with your username." I complimented him.
"Yours isn't so bad yourself," he retorted.
"Ha-ha! You're too polite," I teasingly said. "Mine's alright. Nothing creative or fancy."
He sent me our sunset photos. Magaling talaga 'yun photographer. The sunset was perfect in the background and Xavi and I were all smiles. We were just standing beside each other, our backs against the rail, and the glow from the setting sun behind us. In fairness, we didn't look awkward or what. While scanning through them, some photos caught my attention. There were some stolen shots that Tim included that I didn't see when he showed us the photos in the Twelve Apostles.
I laughed a little when I saw the stolen shots.
"Are those the stolen shots he included?" He guessed while sipping wine from his glass.
