"Finally! We're going on an out of country trip again!" Clara exclaimed and clapped her hands.

It was still early. We were at the airport waiting to board our flight. Since I was done with university for the semester and Clara had a short break, we had a week to spend.

"I'm really so excited for this trip, Kams. I've read before that there are so many nice places we can visit. So much nature in Queenstown! Ang gaganda ng lakes. And skydiving too!"

I nodded. Even ako, I was really excited for this trip. I liked the city but I also liked being in nature from time to time. That was why I was really enjoying Sydney. If I wanted to experience nature, I had a lot of options. There were many spots that I could just go to if I wanted to escape the city and just find some peace and quiet.

"Did you already look at the itinerary I made pala?" I asked her.

She shook her head. "Not really!" She laughed. "I trust you. I know you'll include all the must see places."

The flight was just around 3 hours and it was a pleasant flight. I took the seat by the window as usual and Clara just took the seat beside me. She was just reading from her kindle while I was looking out and enjoying the view. I took out my phone and snapped some photos and took videos too. It was really nice seeing a sea of fluffy clouds when you're flying. It was all blue and white.

We were at the hotel lobby waiting for the bellhop who'd take us to our room. It was a really nice hotel. Si Clara actually ang nagbook. She just showed me several options and made me choose which one I liked the most para 'yun daw ang kukunin niya.

"Kams, isn't that Xavi?" she asked me.

I turned my attention to where she was looking and furrowed my brows. There were two tall guys who were outside the hotel lobby door.

I waved at him when our eyes met.

"Hi." A smile was on his lips. "Funny we ran into each other again on a trip." He laughed. "We got here yesterday."

"We just got here. We're checking in palang actually." I unconsciously smiled.

"Mom and Dad are asking pala if you want to go to Sunday lunch next week. They're celebrating their silver wedding anniversary and would love to have you join us daw. They really enjoyed your company," he casually mentioned.

I smiled. "Really? That's nice of them. I super enjoyed hanging out with them too. I think I'm free naman."

We were still talking then we heard clearing of throats.

"Oh... this is Clara my best friend. C, this is Xavi and..." I furrowed my brows.

"Ryver. Xavi's cousin. Nice to fina-," he paused when Xavi eyed him and raised his brow. "Nice to meet you." He smiled at me and offered his hand. "And you too, nice to meet you, Clara."

"Nice to finally meet you, Clara." Xavi smiled at her and offered his hand.

She shook his hand. "Finally meet me?" she asked and laughed a little.

"Ikaw, kasi!" I joked at Xavi and playfully slapped his shoulder lightly. He just chuckled.

"You usually come up kasi sa mga stories ko," I confessed to Clara while chuckling. She just nodded at Xavi and me.

We were ushered to our room which was very spacious. There were two twin beds, an L couch and a flat screen tv. It also had a balcony which had an amazing view of the lake in front. There were even some chairs and a table in the balcony in case we wanted to hang out there.

"Oh my gosh, Kams! Mas gwapo pa siya in person ha! Ang ganda ganda ng smile and his eyes. Nakakatunaw siguro siya tumitig."

"Ewan ko sa'yo." I just shrugged.
