Stefan POV

I was sitting down on a bar drinking a few shots whilst thinking about Alea. Her silky green hair, her bight blue eyes that is so filled with live, her soft and sweet lips, and her blood that has the effect of calming me down. I drank another shot and was about to leave but a hooded man sat down across me and stopped me.

"Hello brother" He greeted his voice altered by his mask and I instinctively went for my dagger

Impossible we've never seen each other for hundreds of years so why now?

"Who are you?" I growled

"It's me Damon you asshole now sit down or I will make you sit down" He threated and I asked him again

"Damon who?" 

"Damon Salvatore. Elder brother of Stefan Salvatore" He said and I sat down

"Why now?" I asked him

He threw a scroll and when I opened it, a job description?

"Why are you showing this to me? Wait how the hell did you even find me?" I asked 

"For your second question your nickname is a dead giveaway for our race and for the first you might want to see who I'm partnered with" He said and I read it

When I saw Alea's name I tensed but made sure to not show it but I was sure he realized it.

"Don't bother hiding it. I know you've fed from her yet there she is still alive and breathing" He said and I gave the scroll back to him

"What do you want then?" I asked

"I want you to come of course. It's been nine hundred years since we last met and now I just know you have a girlfriend and you didn't even introduce her to me? I'm hurt brother. Did you perhaps forget about me?" He said in a mock hurt tone

"Tell me the real reason" I growled and he sighed

"There has been stirrings from the snake bastard" He said and I nodded

"What of Agrona?" I asked as I raised my hand for the bill

"He has planned to invade this continent. He has sent a lot of spies and I've been hunting most of them down, killing most Alacryan spy that set foot onto Dicathen" He said and I nodded

"I've also cleared out a few groups along the years" I said and he nodded

"We need to work together again brother. We're the last of our bloodline, I can't lose you too" He said in a soft tone he hasn't used for nine hundred eighty seven years

"I'll come just tell me the place to meet" I said and he nodded

"Follow me today to the elf kingdom and here wear this mask. I bet you want to surprise your elf girlfriend" He teased and I felt a little warm on my face

"Thank you brother and it is nice seeing you again" I said and stood up

When we arrived we went to a room where an old elf was sitting down reading a few papers.

"Who is this crow?" The elder elf asked

"This is my brother actually he is also an S rank adventurer and I was wondering if he is allowed to help tomorrow" Damon explained and the elder elf nodded

"He may" The elder elf said and we exited his room

"Should we visit your dear girlfriend?" Damon mocked as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder
