TBATE The Hybrid (Book 1)

Elves

I found a stream where I immediately ran towards and drank the water but when I saw my reflections I jumped back. My eyes were a mix of amethyst purple with azure blue, while my hair was auburn with silver edges.

"Was this a side effect when I became a hybrid?" I thought and washed my face still shocked by my appearance.

I walked around the forest killing a few wild animals and cooking them using some fire magic. Thanks to Sylvia's knowledge about mana and some of my knowledge from my past life I already unlocked fire, lightning, wind, and sound.

I looked around to see my surroundings using my dragon eye as Sylvia once told me if I saw any purple particles that is aether. I saw them, there were so many of them flowing around. Suddenly I heard a scream, I stood up and tracked the source of the sound and when I found it I saw four men loading a girl who was tied up and gaged. 

"Slave traders" I growled 

I burst step toward one of the guards and pierced his heart with my bare hand and ripped his heart out. I crushed the heart which made the blood splatter and some got to my face 

"Who are you?" One of the slave traders asked with his voice that was filled with fear and dread

"A lost boy" I simply said and burst step behind another slave trader and took out his heart from his body and crushed it too

"Two down two more to go" I mumbled and turned my gaze towards the two remaining slave traders

"Charge at him together," One of them said and he charged at me while the other one ran away

I sighed and swiftly killed the one charging toward me while I took a pebble and threw it to the escaping one's leg making him crash down to the ground.

"You know I hate cowards who betray their allies the most," I said with a smile that might've looked sadistic and knelt down in front of him

"I think instant death is not going to be an option for traitors like you" I continued and burnt him alive slowly

"Come out it is safe now" I called out and a little elf girl came out from the carriage

"Now go back to your home," I said but she ran toward me and stopped me shaking her head

"Please help me, I don't want to be alone what if more bad people come," She said her eyes filled with tears

"Vote to kill her?" Grey spoke up

"What the fuck she's a kid for christ's sake" I yelled at him

"And you burnt a human alive" Grey retorted

"Still no and you're one sick bastard," I said and he snorted

"By the way, I think you don't need to come out I can handle myself pretty well," I said

"Like I said I'll only show up when you're getting your ass folded not children fights now scram and take care of the girl," He said and it all became quiet

"Hey it's okay I'll help you" I said trying to calm her down and she cried more hugging me

Man this was going to be anoying. She spent the rest of the night sleeping while I stayed awake on guard for anymore slave traders or monsters. Since I'm a hybrid now I didn't need much sleep and that's great.

I spent the next day navigating through the forest with the elf and after a few days we arrived in front of a tree. I felt aether radiating from the tree as I saw a rune of some sort. She did something and a portal opened, then she went in dragging me inside.
