TBATE The Hybrid (Book 1)

The First One

Damon POV

Laid down on top of a table was a friend of mine. Elijah and today will be the day I wake him up. I've drained all the blood in his body making sure none of his previous blood was there and as I attached the tubes onto his body I placed a crystal on top of where his heart was. I stepped back a few feet before staring at the lever beside me.

"All this was for this day" I said and pulled the lever down

Suddenly electricity could be seen and Elijah's body entering a state of shock as it kept twitching and shaking uncontrollably. After hours and liters of blood and mana being pumped into his body I stopped the machine and walked towards his prone form, I sighed not seeing any signs of live and before I could back away he jumped up and choked me.

I grabbed his arm and tried to pull him away but damn I forgot how strong their bloodline was. There was a reason we call them originals because they were the first one who were tested before the official testing began. They were the first one to ever receive the first ever dose created.

After a while he seemed to calm down and his grip loosened.

"It's nice to see you again Elijah" I choked out and his eye widen and released the grip on my neck

"D...damon but how? I died in battle" He said and I smirked

"Nothing too much, just some blood from a Ripper, mixed with some asura blood, a little bit of Djinn blood and a lot of aether and mana" I said casually and he turned to me and I knew what he was going to ask

"The others are still in their coffins. I require time between charges to activate the machine" I explained and he nodded

"By the way I've finally found a name for our race" I said and he turned to me surprised

"Have you finally have decent naming skills?, the end of the world must have  started if you came up with a good name" Elijah mocked

"Don't worry about any apocalypse coming cause the name is from a friend. So how does vampire sound" I said and he smirked

"it has a good ring to it" Elijah agreed and sat up

"So what do we require to wake up the rest" He asked 

"Problem is Elijah I can only launch up this machine five more times before it breaks so yeah" I said and he nodded

"We're waking up Nicklaus next" He said and I shook my head

"I was actually hoping to wake him up last because I'm still testing the limited supply of werewolf blood I have" I said and he nodded

"Don't worry I'll bring you some" He said and I shook my head 

"You don't understand Elijah werewolves went extinct years ago. I only have a few gallons left after raiding the belmont's household" I said and his expression turned grim

"To wake him up I at least need two gallons so that leaves me with two left to use as experiments" I explained and he nodded

"Take your time Damon" He said 

"So what do we do now?" He asked and I smirked

"we are not doing anything Elijah, I am currently bearing Stefan's curse and I don't want to be a blood addict so I'm going to run some tests to find a cure or something to at least suppress the bloodthirst" I said and he nodded

"Then I think Onaeka would be a good place to lay low" He said as he look at the map I had in my lab

"No. There's a small town at the southern tip of the eastern domain go there, it's more remote and rarely gets any visitors nor ascenders" I said and he nodded
