Imma Skip The Speech This Time Skip Is Sponsored By Aevum

I was inside my private dorm that I got after some negotiating. I unloaded some of my stuff which is honestly not a lot and started to get ready to head to the cafeteria.

When I got there the area was packed and crowded I saw some bullies but I can't be bothered to step in. I watched as long as they weren't killing nor maiming each other I stayed seated down.

Suddenly a brat came up to me and ordered me to get out of the table to let them sit down.

I gripped my butter knife tight before I let out a breath to calm myself.

"Hey commoner didn't you listen what I said I said get the fuck out......"Before he could finish I punched him square in the jaw that launched him to the wall

"Shit it seems like Grey's grumpy side is rubbing off me if I already have the feeling to kill after a little provocation" I cursed and stood up but before I could walk away a wind barrier stopped me and I looked back to find myself face to face with Tess.

"Long time no see Tess" I greeted and she just smile whilst the other man beside him scowled

"And who are you to casually greet the president of the student council" He hissed and I just gave him a smirk

"Who am I is none of your concern. Now if that is all you need please excuse me" I said with a smirk still plastered on my face

I tried to walk away but he grabbed me roughly by the shoulder and pulled me which resulted me to punch him in the gut by instinct that made him roll on the floor.

"Yeah I really should start to not become Grey" I thought, I turned my gaze to see Tess sigh and she lowered down the wind barrier

"Arthur enough" Tessia said sternly and I just sighed and walked off

I walked back to my dorm room and slumped down my bed. I heard what happened to Damon and I know how it must've felt for Stefan but now because of that I am growing afraid to lose my family. I was paranoid and afraid. I sighed and sat up where suddenly I heard a knock on the door.

"How can I help you Director Cynthia?" I asked and she came inside my room, I quickly looked out to see if anyone was watching and shut the door after confirming

"I want you to join a group..."

"Please tell me it's not the student council" I cut her off and she just smirked, I walked up to my bed and sat down

"What I want from you is not to be in the student council, but actually be a part of a committee that is going to start this year. The disciplinary committee." She explained and I let her go on

"Being part of this disciplinary committee or whatever...how does that make sense? I'm a new student that's in this academy as a scholar mage, What would the other members think, anyway?" I tried to reason.

"While they might not agree at first, with some time, I believe you will be more than capable of changing their minds, even with your self-placed handicap." Director Goodsky threw in a playful wink, seemingly dead set on going through with this.

"Arthur, unlike the student council members that are chosen on a broader criteria, the disciplinary committee will be strictly based on strength. Your responsibilities won't nearly be as much as the student council, and being in the disciplinary committee will give you the chance to work with students, some of which are also deviants, that are all strong in their own fields." Her arguments were getting stronger.

"You mentioned that the disciplinary committee members are based on strength—" Before I finished my sentence, she cut me off.

"No, Lucas Wykes will not be on the disciplinary committee or this school at all. There was an unfortunate accident that happened in the Wykes household that took young Lucas's life" She said and I nodded already knowing what or rather who caused that and Grey just chuckled
