CHAPTER 50:

I can't believe I'm on chapter 50 already! 😳

Today is the day, the day where Luke and I have to bury our mother. It's going to be weird because Jack and Ben will be here. They are our brothers who we never see anymore. They both moved to Europe for college years back and decided to stay. We haven't sent them in years, it has been since the twins were two and that means they never met Dustin or Sophia only with Luke's daughter Sydney.

I wish we had stayed in touch more but it's hard when you all have family. Jack and Ben had always been close with each other while me and Luke were always close. As I ponder these thoughts I hear a knock on the door. I go to answer it but Sophia had somehow beat me there with her walker. "Hello, who are you" I hear her ask "I'm Ben and this is Jack we are your uncles I'm guessing you are Sophia right" I hear Ben say and she nods "I am are you looking for my mum" she asks and she nods as I walk up. "hey ben, jack" I say as I hug them "how are you two" "we are good. how's everyone, and luke" they ask.

"Luke is good he's actually pulling in now" I say gesturing outside. I see them look as I hear Dustin crying "that's my cue I will be right back" I tell them turning to head to Dustin's room. Once there I pick him up and bounce him gently in my arms "hi baby boy what's the matter" I ask him as I kiss the top of his head and I that's when I notice the problem. I scrunch up my nose "ew Dustin that's gross" I say and I head to the changing table and change his diaper "I swear you kids are all the same" I say and I hear a chuckle or two. I turn to the door and see Ashton standing in the doorway with Ben.

"He's cute Jessica, all your kids are" Ben tells me and I smile as I finish snapping the onesie. "Thanks Ben that means a lot" I tell him picking Dustin up. "I better get dressed if we are going to make the funeral on time" I tell them as I walk out. I place Dustin on the bed and as I do the cat runs up and lays next to him. Everywhere Dustin goes the cat goes. I walk to the closet and look through my dresses and decide on this black floor length dress with black heels. (Outfit on Daddyashtonfanfic Instagram)

I grab Dustin and the bouncer I keep in the room and head to the bathroom and place the bouncer on the floor then put him in it. I start the shower and strip of my clothes and step in. I leave the shower door cracked so I can peek out and check on him when I have to. I quickly shower with the occasional checking on the baby. I step out and wrap a towel around my head then one around my waist. I bend down and grab Dustin and walk into the bedroom where I see Ashton in a suit on the bed.

I walk towards him and hand him dustin. I walk to my dresser and grab a pair of black lace panties and slip them on before I slip my dress and heels on. I hurry to do my makeup and hair. I turn to Ashton who has Dustin in his arms, as he gaps at me. "Jessica you look absolutely breathtaking" he says as I walk to him and kiss him. Once we break apart we head downstairs and head to the cemetery.

Once the funeral is over and my mother is placed in the ground we all head to a restaurant. Michael, Luke, Calum, Ben and Jack along with their wives and kids and along with our kids are there. Once there we all have our dinner, talk about our memories of my mother and it's amazing. I couldn't ask for a better moment after a horrible day.
