Ashton's POV:

It kills me seeing Jessica like this. Her mother has died, she has no parents and I know she is upset. I feel horrible because ever since her death she hardly holds Dustin. I know she isn't doing it on purpose, I know if she was happier she would be getting as much cuddles as she could with him. I know she seemed happy at Gracie's birth but most of it was forced. Yes she was happy everyone came out safe but I know how much she wishes her mother was there for it all.

We had just gotten back from the funeral and she immediately heads for the bed room. I help Sophia to bed then get Dustin settled before I walk to the bedroom. Once I would to the door way I see Jessica standing in the closet sobbing. I quickly rush to her and pull her towards me as she cries in my chest. I pull away and look at her "lets get dressed for bed and then we can cuddle. You can cry and I'll sing to you" she just nods and she strips off her dress.

It always seems to amaze me that every time I look at her she just gets more beautiful to me. We change and go lay on the bed. Her the little spoon me the big spoon. I watch as she wipes some of the tears away "can you sing lay me down by Sam smith" she asks in a whisper and I nod pulling her closer.

I finish singing and see she has fallen asleep. I kiss her lips and close my eyes hoping soon things look up for the best for Jessica because she needs and deserves to be happy.
