After Dustin falls asleep Ashton takes him from my arms and places him in the hospital crib next to the bed. I scoot over and I watch as he lays beside me. I cuddle into him, with my head on his chest. I listen to his heartbeat. I find that the most beautiful sound in the world because I know that his heart is beating for me and his family.
I look up at him and find him staring at me causing me to blush. I look down "what are you staring at me for" I ask he smiles at me "because Jessi you are beautiful" he tells me. "Haha sure, right because I didn't just give birth a few hours ago" he chuckles and I furrow my eyebrows "jessi baby, you could be old and grey and I will still find you to be the most beautiful woman in the world. No matter how your features change it won't change the way I feel for I don't love you for your looks it's the woman you are and the kind heart you have, that's why I love you".
He finishes and of course I'm a crying mess "Jeez Ash you really know how to make a woman feel loved" I tell him and he smiles big "I love you" he says and I smile "I love you too". He kisses me and I lay my head back on his chest and once again listen as his heart beats reminding me that he's really here while question if it's truly possible to love someone as much as I love Ashton.
