"Nick, what are you doing here" I stutter and I see a smirk on his face "you honestly think I'd leave you alone especially after you put me in jail" he says and runs a hand my arm making me wince away. "I put you in jail because you kidnapped my son" I tell him "that's where you are wrong Jessica, Ryan is my son. He has my DNA in him not you" he states.
"There is more to being a parent to someone than just DNA" I start "you may be his dad but you're not his father. You never raised him or took care of him, Ashton did that after you killed Ryan's mother" I yell and shrink back when he takes a step towards me. "Speaking of Ashton where is he" he starts "usually he comes running once he hears I'm here".
"That is none of your business"i start to tell him but I hear footsteps and I hear Luke yell "what the hell are you doing you asshole" Nick chuckles "I just stopped to tell your sister that this" he gestures between me and him "is not over" and with that he walks back to his car and drives away. Once me and Luke get back in the house I crumble to the ground crying. Luke helps me up and pulls me into his arms and I cry more.
"Luke is it bad that as soon as I seen him the first thing that came to my mind was ashton" I ask and he shakes his head "no it's not you still love him" nodding I pull away and wipe my face "I have an idea" he starts "why don't you pick out something to watch and I'll go get the ice cream I know you have hidden in your freezer and we can watch it together to get your mind off things" I nod and walk towards and debate on a movie to watch and my eyes land upon endless love and I think back to when me and went to see it together. Luke comes back and sees me with the movie in my hand "is that what we are watching" he asks and I shake my head and put it back and grab Divergent and put it in and start watching it and eat the ice cream.
