CHAPTER 30:

Back to Jessica's POV:

Waking up after that horrid dream was a blessing yet a nightmare. That dream felt incredibly real that when I heard his heartbeat I lost it. There has never been a greater sound than the sound of my sons heartbeat.

I watch with tears as Ashton explains what happened and for once I couldn't be happier that Blake saved me. I knew then that even as friends he'd always be there for me.

"Ashton" I start to ask and he looks at me " yes Jess" he says "is Blake here I'd like to thank him for saving me" I tell him and he nods. "He checks on you everyday, he said it was because he wanted to make sure you and the baby were ok" I nod "can you get him" "sure" he says walking out.

I place my hands on my stomach as I look down at the bump that's now visible as Blake walks in. "You're awake" he starts as he sits in the chair Ashton once occupied "how are you and the baby" I smile "I'm fine I mean we are fine thanks to you" I start as I grab his hand in a friendly gesture. "I can never thank you enough for saving our lives Blake I will forever be grateful" he sighs "at least I could save you he says causing me to cock my head to the side.

"What do you mean by that" I ask. I watch as his eyes fill with tears "I was married once, her name was Mia and she was pregnant when she died. Well both of them died. I tried to save them but I couldn't" he states full out crying and I pull him into a hug. I feel the need to comfort him as a friend of course. "I am so sorry Blake that has to be awful" he nods "it is but I'm glad I got to save you two".

We talk for another hour but for some reason I feel like this story is familiar.

This is short since I don't know when I'll post again.

I work a lot this week then next Tuesday through Thursday I am flying to Atlanta Georgia for the 1D WWA tour and I will be seeing One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer!!! 😝 I'm excited!
