"I'll drink you in deep now

Deep into my throat

The whiskey that is you"

I froze. My parents the day when they left me alone in this world to suffer for myself. I still remember the day when everything went wrong. It is all my fault. I was a little kid but the memory was still vivid in my eyes. The moments of my mom and dad flashed in my eyes. I killed them, it was my fault that they died.

"Mommy, Why your stomach is big? Dad said you have a baby inside you. Is that true?" I asked her my eyes widening thinking of getting a little brother or sister. Her pale blue eyes chuckled and gleamed in happiness as she patted my hair and kissed my forehead.

"You are going to have a little brother!" I squealed and jumped up and down at the excitement of having a little brother.

"Can I touch him?" I asked pointing at her swelled stomach. She nodded taking my hands in hers and placing them on her stomach holding them as I giggled at the sensation.

"When will he come to us?" I pouted at the eagerness to see him.

"You have to wait for about five more months and you can play with him all you want."

"Mommy can we go out today since it is my birthday. I want two ice creams, please." I showed her my puppy dog eyes as my father came and planted a kiss on both of our cheeks and picked me up in his arms swirling me around.

"Whatever my princess wants, she gets!"

"Yay!" I giggled as dad smooched my stomach and I let out laughter.

"Come on mommy!" I held her hand as we rushed towards the car to get ice creams. Dad drove slowly as he was concerned about mom and my little brother. Everything happened so fast that a drunk driver slammed the truck straight into our car. I woke up wincing and crying for help. I saw blood was oozing from dad's head and he didn't respond to my cries.

"Daddy, I'm hurt, help me. Wake up now." I cried. I looked at mom who was bleeding so badly as she struggled to get out of the car to help me out. Her stomach was bleeding so much. The car was starting to fire and the truck seemed to blast at any time.

"Sweetheart! Can you do one thing for me?"

"Mommy! It hurts..." I cried as she cradled my head in her arms.

"I will push you out now, when I do that you have to run far away from here, okay."

"Mommy, daddy come with me." I cried as she kissed my forehead and started pushing me out since I was near the window.

"Remember that mommy and daddy love you so much, Mireya." She pushed me out through the window as I ran away staring at them burnt by fire. The lifeless body of my mom and dad haunted me. I killed my yet to born brother, my mother, and my father. I should have stayed silent. I shouldn't have got them to go out. If they stayed home they would have been alive.
