(ANUSHKA'S POV)

An whole hour was spent in saying goodbyes. Gosh parents! But I was really going to miss them.

I took in the view of my room. It was neat and tidy. Half of the room, which belonged to my roomate was filled with Textbooks. Some were new other were extremely old with delicate covers.

"Hey. I'm Chelsea Griff. You must be my roomate. Did you have any trouble moving in?" The girl was tall with shoulder length blone and purple dip dyed hair.

"Hi, I'm Anushka. No it was fine. My parents helped me." A knock got our attention. Chelsea went to open it. For afar I could see Chelsea was talking to an Indian girl, with exrremely short hair. She looked oddly like Anannya. The girl came in and I realise she didn't just look like Anannya. She was Anannya!

"Anuhska." She exclaimed and hugged me as soon as she saw me.

"Wait dude. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR?" I was in a deep shock. Why had she cut her hair? Had she lost her mind? Everyone liked her hair. She loved her long hair.

I waited for her to reply but she didn't say a word. I was getting a really bad feeling about this.

"Anannya, dude is everything okay?" I asked as we parted. I could see unshed tears in her eyes. What the fuck?

"You two seem close." Chelsea regarded us with sympathy. I was expecting a happy reunion, but this was far form what I'd imagined. Something was very wrong here. Initally I was going to be mad at the jerk for not contacting us, but seeing her now, I didn't feel like doing it.

"Will someome tell me what's going on?" I asked.

"I'll explain when we are in Sneha's room. She's just arrived. I was with her just now. Let's go. And thanks Chelsea!"

We made your way to room 345. Sneha's room.

"Anusnka!" Sneha jumped and hugged me as soon as she saw me.

"Hey." I answered back.

"Now explain WHY YOU CUT YOUR HAIR!" Sneha demended. I was really curious about it too.

"Alright." Anannya began. By the time she finished she was sobbing on my shoulder. I rubbed her arm in attempts to soothe her.

"Why didn't you tell us about this?" My feelings were so jumbled up. I was both sorry for Anannya and hurt that she didn't share any of this with me.

Sneha had gone uncharacteristically quite. But when she spoke, her words were cold. "We need revenge." she didn't scream but the words echoed in my mind.

"No. Dude it's not a good idea.Even though Chris and Paris deserved it, reveage wasn't going to help the situation."

"Anushka is right. I've thought a lot about it. And revenge isn't the solution. If anything it's going to anger Paris even more. Not to mention how much trouble we will be in if we are caught. I'm already in a lot of trouble as it is." Anannya nodded.

"So, you two just want to sit here and let that Bitch do whatever she likes?!" The anger was evident in Sneha's voice.

"According to Nate, there will be no more physical attacks. So I'm safe. Silly pranks and rumors I can handle. But the problem is that now she will bully you guys as well. Maybe we should keep this friendship secret?"

"Not possible. We can't just watch a friend get bullied!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, I guess we just have to stick together then." Anannya and Sneha nodded.

The school hadn't officially begun. The first working day was on Monday. Which was day after tomorrow. I was expecting to get a fresh start, have fun with my friends, forget things and move on. But Anannya was just wasn't enthusiastic enough while Sneha was too enraged. To tell you the truth, I was scared Sneha would do something to anger Paris. Anannya thought so too. We had to keep an eye on her at all times. No matter how much she protested and got mad at us.
