(SNEHA'S POV)

Earlier this morning I was told I wasn't human and I believed it without
question. No matter how many faults I tried to find in this fact, I came up empty handed. It was the truth, I suppose.

More thought on the subject led me to believe that maybe this isn't entirely bad. Not being human doesn't mean becoming a monster. Why should we outcast and lable things we can't explain, right? Or so my friends tried to explain. But are you serious? We are in a school full of supernatural beings and you expect me to be calm? Delude myself that I'm safe? But no matter how much I try to run away, I can't deny who I am. And so, now my friends and I must come to terms with the fact that we aren't humans and must attend school with the rest of our kind.

But one thing I must say, despite everything, I'm actually enjoying. We HAVE MAGICAL POWERS FOR PETE'S SAKE! And that is really badass!

See? My mental state is somewhere between utterly creeped out and extremely excited.

If we are here, we might as well enjoy it right? Wise words quoted by my friends.

As soon as the ceremony, or so it's called, ended a tall man with platinum blonde hair addressed us. "I welcome you, fellow Hunters. I am Dr. Stone, and I will be heading your training as a hunter. For the new comers, we Hunters are peace keepers. We must keep balance between humans and the supernatural. And for this task, certain powers are bestoed upon us. I will explain in detail about these powers and other such important information once the first lesson begins. Also I'd like to clear the fact that you will be attending classes for regular subject such as Math, as per schedule. Lesson for our training will be organized after school."

Immediatley afterwords we were dismissed. Well not exactly. We were made to attend out first lesson as Hunters. The same went for other species.

"Aura White and Derek Spade will be your representatives. As some of the older students are aware, two representatives, a boy and a girl, must be chosen from the senior students to represent our group in the school's adminstrative Council. Aside from this, in case of any problem or dispute they can be sought out." Aura and Derek stood dutifully behind Dr. Stone.

"Now, for our first lesson. As I have explained earlier, we, Hunter are the peace keepers. It is our duty to keep the balance between humans and the supernatural. Hunters are always just!  And in the world of the supernatural, we are enforcers of law and are given the final verdict. It is our duty to deliever justice." the eyes of students around us shone with honour.

"A Hunter can be recognised by a mark on the forearm. New comers I request you to extend your arms." And sureenough the symbol which had appreared in the bowl, was now engraved in our skin with silver ink. "Aside form this, a hunter in his true form emits a faint sliver light, and a silver crown. If you look around you will be able to notice it."

"Now I hope everyone is clear on the subject." our first lesson was the transformation. We had to morph into our true forms. For this, we had to meditate for about two hours. At first it was utterly distracting, I would be distracted be the littlest things like other people's breathing.

After seven failed attempts, I really felt like ripping my hair out! Other newer members felt the same. How could the other just transform so easily? It starting to irratate me really bad!

"Yes." a boy yelled. I wanted to kick him! how did he do it? Moreover why was he so loud when others were trying to concentrate? Suddenly, I felt warmth envolpe me.

"I did it!" Anannya and I exclaimed. But our forms flickered and faded.

"Ugh!" I yelled.

Parctice was dissmissed after an hour but all of us were made to stay back. Aparently Aura and Derek wanted to brief us about somethings.
